I personally think the new deal is almost over the line, he’s bought more time and okayed it with the majors for today’s RNS, just letting the market know discussions are still underway. Then they’ve dropped a few Twitter posts which read well. Then there’s this coming out of Colombia.
https://www.halconesypalomas.com/2024/01/23/orosur-retomara-el-100-del-proyecto-de-oro-anza-localizado-en-el-occidente-de-antioquia-va-por-el-51-de-newmont-y-agnico/
The price has been around this level for a while now, usual buys and sells I’ve been seeing are for £1-£100. A £8000 buy gives some hope some news could be close, it might be or it’s to you but it equates to about 0.6% of the current market cap. Hopefully it’s someone knowledgeable and in the know.
I reckon we’ll get it back but it’ll be in the terms of the contract that Newmont / Agnico can come back on board / own a percentage if it turns out to be over 10m oz plus. Or something along those lines. I recall Brad telling me something similar in the phonecall I had.
Another tweet, almost like the opposit of the RNS
‘Latest update on Anza in Colombia.
Parties on the same page in terms of the destination, just working on the route to get there. Hopefully quite fast now we know where we are going.’
Weird.
Weird tweet to put out, Louis Castro at Anza.
‘Chairman Louis at Anza today- meeting the team and senior members of the local community. Reintroducing ourselves and letting them know we are coming back.’
Yes I’ll also be adding at some point. Anza resolve will come eventually and as others say, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a ploy to let some friends in. End of the day, zero has changed with it without the RNS.
A pointless RNS in my opinion, wasn’t really expecting anything just yet anyhow. He could have said nothing and it would have been normal for anyone who’s held here for a certain amount of time. May get an opportunity to add lower than current price, which I didn’t really expect and wait it out for the resolve.
Probably Nick van whats his face director buys
What do they say about GCM, I held there for years glad I got out. Looks like it’s in suspension at the minute?
Collective at our neighbouring Guayabales project are consistently churning out top assays, they’d be the ideal partner. Far from scared to publish results, obviously already developed good relationships with the government several levels, likewise with local inhabitants / farmers, they know the lay of the land, four rigs drilling and releasing assays almost weekly. We dare to dream. Though as with any new partner, it’s going to cost us somewhat. I wouldn’t want to get in bed with Royal Road minerals, they have Agnico in their shadows and it’s since they came aboard when the issues started to rear their ugly heads.
Just regular investors taking a decent profit I’d say. There’s several on here own million plus shares. If folk were buying in 2s and 3s it wouldn’t have taken too much capital to get a million plus shares. A good week anyhow. Hopefully a blue day tomorrow.
I’m a long term holder due solely to Anza and the region it is in. I had the chance to sell at a large profit numerous times but stuck with it. In hindsight I should have sold but with the current climate and market improvement it created an opportunity to add alto my holding at the price I never expected to see. This time round I’ll take some profit and attempt to trade some dependant on what happens with the previous JV and other factors. But I agree with what you’re saying, somewhat. Most LTH are trapped in at a loss, as they have been with just about every stock since covid and 2020 / 21 highs. Good luck to all.
Able to sell 350k plus at 5.35 currently. Decent money still entering. Glad I got my final top ups in in the 3s, may potentially add once Anza becomes clearer.
Anyone new here or unfimiliar with the Anza gold project, this is what attracted me here and why I’ve stayed invested here:

Some nice buying to start the day. Creeping up day on day.
Happy New Year PP and all. In recall Brad used to say this weren’t really his company when they only had the Anza project as he’d inherited that JV. He cannot say that now with all these new projects on the books. Anza the obvious jewel in the crown were all here for. The Lithium in Nigeria looks interesting, regardless of the current Lithium price fluctuations. The Junior market will have a good year this year, once Anza resolve comes then Orosur have a very attractive portfolio. The BOD need to be putting their hands in their pockets once Anza is sorted as they’ll play the price sensitive info card up until then. Brazil results were due months ago, he’s forgot about them for now… Hope he digs then out to try and build some momentum when the right time comes. I’ve added today and last week. Think I’m done now unless I pull profit from elsewhere. This should be the turnaround year for OMI. Good luck all. 🍻
Could Brad and Louise have dipped into there pockets?
From a phonecall with Brad which was from last year, July I think, Investors were lined up then ready and waiting for if / when Orosur got Anza back. Not sure what terms of dilution etc. that’s the big question.
This could finally be the one. Naheed being totally silent means somethings brewing.
I think the Anza resolve is sorted and has been for a while, obviously Orosur are going to be back in charge as he’s said that numerous times recently. He’ll conveniently drop relevant news once there options are confirmed. Nice surprise about them deeming it one huge adjoining system. I’m sure he’s said on past interviews they’ve always had a few in the field continuing work on Anza? 2024 should be better than this year that is a fact.
