Not sure yet, but it's not a simple question. Pepas as it stands, is big enough to be a mine and as such we are advancing into feasibility and permitting. Adding more ounces and perhaps a couple of more years production from Pepas west is lovely, but if it doesn't fundamentally change the scale of the mine we want to build, or unless it adds a zero to the back of the MRE, then updating the MRE is not something we want to do in a hurry as that just triggers another bloody expensive 43-101 report. The current thinking then is to drill enough to give us some rough sense of tonnage, but then move on and look for more of them, based upon what we have learned geologically from the existence of Pepas West.

It's all a bit up in the air for the moment, but we work on the perhaps slightly optimistic basis of "where there is one, there are likely to be others". But geology does tend to work like that.’

It looks like they are drilling Pepas West for now, whilst they sort the access to the South East of the Pepas deposit which must have thrown up a decent target, possibly from the recent aero mag.

They are indeed hunting the feeder / source system of these high grade at surface deposit(s)

No mention of Apta or El Pantano.

-Louie stated it’s a principally gold, but with silver.

-Louie alluded to negotiations being underway, JV or spin off.

-Brad spoke of confirming the 100% ownership as the terms had been met, within a week or so… That was now many months ago.

-Congratulated the geos on X, with pictures of them… Before the CEOs ‘swan in and take the glory’

-Explained in the depth the costs of exploration there and the reasoning for stopping drilling(Could this be to the prepare the market for, wow that’s great results from the maiden drill campaign, why stop drilling)

- We know Newmont and Anglo, requested all info coming out of El Pantano. With Newmont offering technical analysis free of charge.

-Radio silence on El Pantano now for over a month, not one mention on the last couple RNS’s.

True words, not every deposit has to be millions of ounces. Especially when factoring all the positives Pepas has going for it.

OMIs currently £90m market cap, the fact it achieved £150m market cap on the strength of only Pepas speaks volumes.

Now they’ve discovered the new zone, Pepas West. Again high grade from surface. How big is it? Who knows. It’s the first two holes drilled, not the final two so what’s the point saying it’s only X amount of ounces at this stage. It’s a brand new discovery…. A repetition of Pepas which the board were confident of finding.

I bet if they delivered Pep83 at Scallywag, they’d be absolutely creaming about it.

Any project on planet earth what delivered 14.45m @ 8.27g/t Au from surface from a previously unknown mineralised zone would be more than happy.

Apta will produce some eye catchers as we’ve seen before, expansion of a deposit in the million(s) of ounces could be a game changer for little old OMI.

Interesting a certain someone has changed from less than 800k to now stating 1m oz. Some geologist you are changing it on a whim without any further drill results to back that change up.

I’ll stick with AGEOS here. He got Pepas near on from just 2 months drilling.

He held out until the end expecting? What exactly? You obviously didn’t have a clue what to expect as you were disappointed with the MRE.

The more I read into the these porphyry clusters seen at El Cedro, the more I’m liking the sound of it.

Especially as it is a similar geology at Guayabales.

The first hole at Apta may have completed by now.

It lies North of Apta, south of Pupino / Pepas.

Discovery-geared Collective pries more porphyry secrets from ...

The Guayabales project in Colombia, operated by Collective Mining, is a major high-grade copper-gold-silver ‘porphyry cluster’ in the Middle Cauca belt. It features multiple interconnected targets—including Apollo, Olympus, Trap, and Box—representing a large, multiphase porphyry-breccia system. The area shows intense mineralization and remains open at depth.

Key Targets and Characteristics

Apollo Target: A significant, high-grade gold-copper-silver system found within a breccia-porphyry complex.

Olympus Target: A three-by-four-kilometre area hosting at least eight porphyry-related targets, where drilling has revealed significant, shallow mineralization.

Trap Target: A 1.75-kilometre-long structural corridor with overprinting porphyry and carbonate base metal (CBM) veins.

Box Target: A large target area with brecciated porphyry outcrops, showing characteristics of the upper levels of a porphyry system.

Regional Importance

The project sits adjacent to the Aris Mining Marmato mine, confirming the area's high prospectivity. The Guayabales cluster is part of a broader mining district characterized by deep-seated, extensive porphyry systems.

That’s an interesting update on El Cedro from the new published report yesterday.

‘El Cedro, a large cluster of gold porphyry intrusions (at least 2 major ones) in the south of the Anzá project area. Mapping and sampling are underway and once the aeromag is complete and interpreted, the company anticipates maiden drilling before the end of H1-2026 which may necessitate bringing a 3rd rig to site.’

At least two major gold porphyry’s, in the recent 43-101 El Cedro sounds like it is now number 1 target at Anza. With humongous ‘potential’

This could well be the company maker, biggie, that Brad and the team are adamant on finding. Aero mag survey is currently underway.

Pepas

Orosur embarked on a semi-regional drilling program around the Pepas deposit. The aim is to better understand the larger scale litho-structural controls that led to formation of Pepas deposit and provide vectors to new mineralisation. Given that Pepas is constrained by bounding faults/shears, understanding the structural regime in combination with the geological evolution could be key to unlocking the wider district potential. Pepas is so high grade and “ounce dense” that we have always considered it unlikely to be a one-off given the implied intensity of the hydrothermal mineralising system capable of producing such a deposit.

The aim now is to understand the controls and signatures of mineralisation to identify if Pepas is part of a larger system or indeed, whether multiple Pepas type deposits exist. To be clear, Pepas doesn’t need to grow to support a commercial operation but the rationale to find more high-grade mineralisation is obvious. New zone at Pepas West. Drilling 100m west of Pepas has intersected significant gold mineralisation, 26.4m at 2.85g/t Au from 5.3m (PEP082) and 14.45m at 8.27g/t Au from surface (PEP083). Both holes demonstrate the same lithologies and two same mineralising events that form the basis of the Pepas deposit implying a relationship.

Another 3 orientation holes at the new zone have been completed which show similar mineralised lithologies - assays pending. Step-out drilling will be considered once the orientation drilling in this new zone has been completed. We view the mineralisation intersected in these holes as significant given the grade, and occurrence beyond the defined core of the Pepas. Key now is for Orosur to do some detective work to find out how this mineralisation got there and how it relates to Pepas, in order to find more. Aeromag survey commenced.

El Cedro.

Talking of large scale, Orosur is starting to get its eye in at El Cedro, a large cluster of gold porphyry intrusions (at least 2 major ones) in the south of the Anzá project area. Mapping and sampling are underway and once the aeromag is complete and interpreted, the company anticipates maiden drilling before the end of H1-2026 which may necessitate bringing a 3rd rig to site.

El Cedro was explored on and off by Anglo American and Orosur’s previous JV partner but has never been drilled. Gold assay results from a large-scale soil geochemical survey completed by Orosur last year indicate a substantial gold bearing system with highly anomalous gold values over a wide area, including soil assays >1g/t Au which is exceptional in our view.

This suggests there is more to El Cedro than meets the eye, including the potential for other deposit styles within the porphyry-epithermal continuum.

Maybe that why it was a ‘maiden’ mineral resource.

Then there’s Apta…

‘The recent drill results just west of Pepas are interesting and indeed encouraging in as much as they show there is more to find. But there are two issues that we must now resolve:

1. How big is it? We of course have no idea at this stage. For the sake of prudence we will start with the assumption it is small, and work up from there. Always best to be surprised to the upside.

2. Why is it there? The fact we see the same rocks and same mineralising event as we see at Pepas, suggests (but does not guarantee) the two are related. If so, what are the tectonic mechanisms that saw it shifted to the west? This is important as it gives us more information as to what has gone on and thus how we might develop additional targets. This is very much a structural geology arm waving exercise - but that is what arms are for’

‘One challenge we do face is the fact that Hole PEP083 showed +30g/t Au from 1m , with essentially zero surface geochem expression immediately above.

This is steep terrain in a hot and wet environment and so soils move around some considerable distance- as a result we are faced with the not uncommon problem of bonanza grades sitting just below otherwise barren soils.

The whole point of soil sampling is the premise that the soils are derived from the rocks beneath - but if the soils have been moved from somewhere else, then they are useless.

When the drillers move their rigs about they doze little tracks, move away this barren soil and all of the sudden the place lights up - they open up small windows to what may be beneath, but exciting windows. It's frustrating as it makes exploration a bit tricky, but on the other hand is encouraging as the locals never saw this stuff and so the whole place is largely untouched.

The more we look the more we find.‘

Pepas and Apta alone easily justify the recent highs for me.

There was no congratulations to LW when he was present here when OMI was unloved at single digits, taking his valuable time to post well researched, informative snippets on a daily basis. Where we saw the share price almost 20 bag. It’s fell back, now he’s a ramper?

We are guaranteed to strike at Apta, its expansion then infil drilling. So I’d say exploration there cannot fail myself.

It’s been 5 years since Apta was drilled so it’s almost like the forgotten deposit.

This time round they’ve got Dr Warwick Crowe on side to evaluate data, the concept in regards to Apta actually seem to change around the time when he visited the Anza project last year.

Pepas is in the bag, we’ve now found something what’s looking very similar geology wise. West Pepas.

Apta is guaranteed to create some excitement.

El Cedro Aero mag is up and at em, Dr Crow specialises in that department.

El Pantano, who knows? But I have my opinion on the matter. It shouldn’t be long to find out.
