The Bricks meeting is 26th August where they will discuss a new currency, if they include commodities as well as gold in the value i think USA will do the same but before and Yellen is telling China to be careful, but on the other hand seeing Obamx 1st and now Bidxn under Obamx are trying to screw USA and telling bricks to go ahead, good way to destroy the dollar as currency transaction but not reserve at this time as bricks don't have bonds, swaps and other stuff that the dollar has like the LAW and courts etc. Will take years for bricks to take out the dollar. Hi Speedy Jim Rickard said that gold needs to be 15000 usd oz to cover 20% of money supply and around 40000 usd to cover 40% of money supply which was the old gold standard as i understand. Increasing the gold value like Roosevelt did in 1933 increases the money supply like a devaluation. Too low causes depression as what happened in the UK middle of the 1930s when Churchill fixed the rate when Keynes said not to. DM

Hi Jet worked Libya in 1977 for Esso on the Nat Gas plant and mini refinery plus a bit of blue stuff to keep us going. Also worked on the gas receiving station until it blew up. Long time ago.

Hi Sammyplank, not quite true in that Telfer is worth more because of Havieron. Telfer value is with or without Havieron as the value is based on totally clearing the site and putting it back as was this means many hundreds of millions of dollars. Tax wise Telfer is zero as payed down. The reason why i say Telfer value is zero or 1 isd is that there are many refineries in the world that were sold off for 1 usd by the majors to smaller refiners is because of the clean up cost and modifying the refinery to keep going and feed stock is always available, like Havieron. So for me SD is correct in offering one dollar Oz. For me the best scenario is for Rio to take over Telfer, GGP to buy Havieron and sell back some to Rio and Wyloo with GGP 51% and managing the project. DM

I do not see NMT selling Havieron as they have stated that they are looking for battery metals which in our case is copper as GH always stated, don't forget the copper. For GGP SHs i think its win win, but i do prefer going mining with Havieron providing the cash for future exploration. What we need is to find an open pit deposit close to Telfer for quicker returns on the investment, or to buy a producing mine. In that case, the problem is pricing, as all miners now will only sell at a big premium unless its a merger of equals.

All being too negative with the resource size ie 8m oz, I and Bamps have calculated about 1.2 billion tons of to come out with 1.0 g/ton equivalent so go and calculate, this mine will be operating longer than Telfer. Did you know that PXssy hills was the original name for Telfer, DM

Could be another vertical ore body as they drilled down at an angle hoping to catch something like HAD 001. Next step after study of the samples and further information is to drill down vertically and hope to find a HAD 005 which will base line the start of mineralization and depth if they can get down 2000 m or so. Then lots of drilling to find the sides. After this result i should think Ernest Giles will be put back a year or so as why spend money on unknown while we have found mineralization at Ruddel and Scallywag, Drill for gold its all in the bit. Freddy, NCM have many JVs not just GGP and many are large ones like RedChris so its not going to happen. GGP best position is to stay quiet, listen and learn. If Newmont want to buy GGP then the same deal made to NCM plus 60% on SP and 1.1 usd special Divi per share, think that would be acceptable to most shareholders at the moment. Anything less is not acceptable as far as i am concerned. DM

PK i watched it and found it most interesting as more information was discussed about the other projects which i think is unknown to most people on LSE. Bamps and Bottle spend a large amount of time on their projects to keep less informed people like me up to speed on what's going on and giving a different point of view to what is known. So Whyloo paid 600 million dollars for something in the ground and will take years to start production for 11 years not a tier 1 mine, so where are we as GGP oh yes 1 year from production, tier 1 mine good for at least 30 years to fifty odd years if more than the 20 million oz which has been mentioned by none other than our CEO. so i think our bit is X ten the 600 million paid for Eagles nest possible hole in the ground, DM

Hi Tom, read my missive from last week, will take 3 to 4 years from conception to commissioning the plant, that includes planning, engineering, construction and commissioning. Cost including pipelines you are looking at least 500 million maybe more if including recovering other metals like nickel, silver, moly and more. Best is to use Telfer at cost plus 10% until we have the money to build the new plant, that is owning 100% of Havieron. Not worth the effort unless we find something big on Skallywag. DM

Hi Antigua quite agree with your assessment on JPM. Apparently they have recently bought 40 tons of silver either for themselves or client and that's the reason why the silver price is kept low. DM

Seen the hole spacing at Red Chris, 100 * 100 and 100 * 200 m we are digging 50 * 50 m. I understand our drilling after defining the boundaries of the deposit but was always 50 * 50. just takes longer. DM
