I must note, the current sp seems fair value at current levels.

4583p was a target and was reached, it will bounce up and down until Feb 22nd at least before any breakout is seen above 5000p

It’s a stock to buy and forget about that’s all I would say. I had 1076 from 2001, added 300 more at 3000p and I’m happy.

What I will add, Vegan food is seeing an uptick, so this will give them a different dimension. Macdonalds too are introducing vegan burgers from June ‘21 too I heard

Also, the time to buy here will be after results NOT before. Look at charts and that’s how you predict to buy.

I’d be selling LLOYDS for more here though in November :-)

I think some need to do a bit of research when talking about raising dividends again back to pre - Covid levels.

High dividend dogs do NOT move either way ( are more or less steady eddys ), but when treacherous times approach the SP gets hit worst.

If we look at the average Dividend of S&P or DOWJ it is around 3.5%.

With lower dividend yields the growth would be higher, so if the final dividend is slashed to half maybe 10p that’s fine, it will help propel the SP over time faster.

Vodafone is another share that has suffered with dividend being slashed by close to 50% pre Covid

Afraid this sector is trending down and will continue to do so until year end. Options don’t do it any favours.

Consumers will favour buying cheaper brands due to food prices rising, and cosmetics & toiletries sectors too.

You want to stay in Tech and sadly UK have none, we as a nation have rated poorly in the rally since April.

But.. on a 12month - 10yr projection this being a consumer staple it should fare better.

The Oracle could be propelling around, as BP have lost there way in last 12months. To increase a dividend say they were preserving cash and to say there now distancing themselves from crude is very weird from an oil company like BP

Now, I listened to the earnings call and was horrified to hear about the wording that was used.

That they were going to distance itself from the black goey stuff and move to hopefully a zero carbon footprint.

This just didn’t sit right on my mind...

Also, that dividend increase was a complete and utter mistake.

The end result, BP don’t have a clue anymore.

I’m looking to hopefully hold upto 450p next year and move to BHP along with RDSB to a flying carpet company.. haha. Anything is possible now.

We’re already in recession and if the growths continues like it has of late the recession will be short lived. You need to be looking at tech drivers. UK stockmarket is also underperforming the broader markets. ULVR is a defensive play, spit will underperform when the serious rally begins.

Guess what caused the drop? DB’s upgrade to 290p this week! haha. Think it might be due to RDSB & LLOYDS bad results.

What’s with the 5.2% drop in shaeprice today? It’s not ex-dividend, nor has it announced bad news? FTSE down 1.5% is it that’s the reason?

That’s why SILVER & Gold hasve been rising for past month.

Again, the vaccine for Ebola took 4yrs, there is no vaccine for HIV, just drugs to help you if you catch it, it took 6yrs for measles vaccination..

Just an observation, that Novartis seemed to show same results and it fell.
Again, GSK has to reduce its dividend to aid grow and aid its development. This is now being shown up in all high UK dividend stocks. Unlike US stocks that have a dividend of 3% average to S&P. Even banks still have their dividends active.

Watch Abbvie’s results on Friday and see what they do.
I will be selling up in this spur company just like I did with VODAFONE in 2018.

Unless you look at fundamentals and trends you wouldn’t know why people sell out of high paying dividends before going ex-divendebd. They take ages to recover.

Yes it’s the USA listed stock but just use FX to equate what there saying for next year £75.

ABBVIE have raised 2021 eps to $13 on yahoo. Now PE is 7.5x 2021 eps. Given just a drug pipeline of 15, get 15 * $13 = $195 PT. Dividend growing 18% yoy, we will have $6 a share .

JNJ has a multiple of 19 now, ABBVIE has much better growth rate.

Seaking1. You say GSK is a good investment, but it does nothing but goes sideways.

I have bought ABBVIE last September has gained 25% as of tonight (has a 5.95% dividend when I bought at $78.50). This is what I call a good investment, has growth and value.

GSK is a boring stock that goes up and down and has failed to grow along with other major pharmaceuticals.

Another stock I own JNJ, has gained 236% since I bought in 2010 at $62.50.

I bought GSK in 2009 at 1205p and more at 1600p, still has only grown 37% from initial investment.

AZN on other hand which I bought a few 2013 3345p has gained 278% as of today. But I sold that at 8000p month ago.

Word of warning Modsto Deutsche bank are terrible brokers as they only give German companies preferential treatment. Don’t follow because every target they put in place is wrong. It shows in there bank itself being in an utter mess and near bankruptcy..
