Well I've been here 4 1/2 years myself and although I've seen hopes and aims and dependent upon during that time I can't say I have ever seen anything that has been reiterated like this ones expected completion has.

We have agreed in the past that the timing of all of this is likely to be hinging on the government go ahead and so nothing has changed and the if and when still remains.

As for what can and cannot happen

As far as I'm concerned my reading of Kilwani situation is that the equipment and manpower team were already mobilised for the remediation and it is in fact underway, or at the very least ready to go on a phone call or email.

The disputed sum I feel will be sorted out as a part of the agreement that is reached which will also cover who is to pay for the pipeline and how much percentage if any TPDC wish to take up of their option

I believe it can all still happen if they have prepared themselves properly but it is not a simple job so we'll just have to wait and see.

As said earlier we choose our favoured IF and we win or lose on the choice we make.

Agreed but if the farm-out goes through on schedule then is no reason to suspect the spud will not happen pre Christmas either. Add to that the remediation expected to be completed too. It is not all about a one point announcement here (although that is the key launch point) because once the first one comes, the others will follow as night follows day.

If it comes Monday to fit in with the reasoned schedule I gave, then it won't be just standard fireworks we'll be having. Boom! Boom! :0))

Assuming the expected date is met, then there are more than enough points to come along before Christmas to see the price at least double from here. If it doesn't and nothing happens I agree it will probably slip back a bit more but it is just an if either way.

You choose your own IF and you takes your chance. Having the date expectation reiterated three times gives me the confidence to have my numbers beforehand. If not, I'll have to wait a little longer but I have no doubts it will come.

It's bonfire & fireworks night 5th November so predicting notice on Monday 16 days notice from then gives EGM on 21st, one day before the Solo shareholder meeting which would leave 6 working days to complete the paperwork in time for announcement Friday morning 30th or Monday 3rd December. The company have reiterated three times they expect the deal to go through before the end of November and as it relies on a licence being granted the notice would signify that has been done That old cliché.... At least four senior acacia people have been arrested and charged in the last two weeks Tarry and the delay for the later arrests suggest the first was singing about others involved. On the government issue I tend to agree with cp on retaining our own cards but I don't see KW being one of them because the delay in cashflow has hurt us more than them at the moment. I'm not sure they will tell us about that permission because they have already said remediation is underway and expected completion before Christmas. Must say, I do feel happy that you now seem to be accepting that we are in the governments hands over the timing of events. Where I don't fear the whole deal coming together I do agree the sp may face further pressure if it doesn't come before end November but again it will be down to the government delaying things if so.

Perhaps you could take a look. It makes no mention of the SongoSogo here but strangely on the TPDC 2018 map you linked too, still shows the PSA in the hands of Funguo PT who were owned by Key Petroleum.

Looks like the Songo Songo West might be a part of ours as it seems we hold the PSA for it.

Aminex PLC announced the award of a further Production Sharing Agreement in Tanzania.
This new offshore PSA, known as Songo-Songo West, is adjacent to the western boundary of the producing Songo-Songo gas field and close to Aminex's recent gas discovery at Kiliwani North, currently under test.
The new PSA is held 50% by Ndovu Resources Ltd., an Aminex wholly-owned subsidiary, and 50% by Funguo Petroleum Pty Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Key Petroleum of Australia. Key, an existing 20% joint-venture partner with Aminex in the nearby Nyuni PSA which includes the Kiliwani North discovery, has been nominated operator of the new PSA for Songo-Songo West.
