had his knuckles rapped! I saw the post, it was put up yesterday evening at 18.12 and visible still after 7.00 this morning but has now been removed. I guess someone had a word in his shell-like..
A flare was always going to be hard to hide let's face it!!
Best make that seven weeks F22
Cherokee, it was 6th September. I remember as I took a trip to Bordeaux to celebrate my 50th with MrsBB. Was staying in The St. James in Bouliac (on account of the nice steady rise in SXX) and feeling like a million dollars ( as anyone who has stayed there will confirm will make you feel!) until I checked that Thursday morning and discovered the back end fell out by about 30% if I remember right(?). How quickly did my jubilation turn to misery on that trip ??!!
Hey-ho, still here....
GD 2k from AM and the co-ordinates I have on note are 60.18 -3.87 which is where AM is sitting. I may be wrong though....
Certainly getting cluttered looking in and around there on MarineTraffic. What a good thing to see!!
Think that was in response to a11gar, not you Albi1.
Just popped in here very quickly between patients to have a catch up and just wanted to say Myo, you really are a world class contributor to this board. As someone whose time is short (always it seems!) I cannot begin to thank you enough for the time you put in here and extrapolate all the various key points having trimmed away much of the unnecessary information. I can only imagine there are a great many readers on here that probably feel the same!
Cheers!
I second that Snail. Good post at 21.12 AD.
....nearly as good as one of them Rush albums, (by the same name, for those less aware!)
Well Well, appreciated your posts, Sorry you've up and left. Good luck.
I am fortunate enough to have family in the mountains in Switzerland whom I visit frequently . Were it not for Strabag literally all over the place nothing could get done there. They have a really good handle on building tunnels - have no doubt of that!!:-))
Cebo, I believe you are well wide of the mark there.....Anne Frank defo never had a drum kit! ;-))
Breached or not.. clearly that last bit of chat didn't go down too well here as it has now gone altogether...
AD, I think its the photo 2nd from left on the top row of the LANCASTER EPS gallery, next to SIPPs pic of the AM
I recognise the first of those pics on the Lancaster EPS image gallery - think it was one of SIPPs?
Sorry, just to clarify that. I said to her " Surely, it's not going down to Immingham, more likely up Whitby direction?"
To which she confirmed but didn't say exactly where.
Apologies.
I just phoned to ask and the TBM is expected in the UK this weekend. It is currently still in Rotterdam. Not going South to Immingham but north of that to Whitby.
Very good on the phone they were....
GLA
Thanks Myo, yes it was MarineTraffic that I was hoping to pick up some detail from. I expect they'll tell us when Rotterdam has been reached however.
Does anybody know the name of the barge transporting our TBM?
A brilliant read. Funny in that many of the recent posts (albeit understandably tinged with a bit of impatience and pent-up frustration, myself included) are homing in on what really is a just a part of this potentially huge story that is unfolding and so much bigger. It has been easy to forget the Licoln drill is only around the corner! This is really just arriving at the starting point of a very busy (and hopefully exciting for all the right reasons) three years for all holders. I hope to still be in this for a good long while yet. Dr T seems to becoming fond of this 'fast-track' expression. Said twice in this interview. His mind must be racing!
