Sorry, Levs!
Legs, believe me I would love for you to be right about Monday morning but if the recent past is anything to go by ( and bearing in mind last summer whilst the AM was doing sight-seeing trips around Dubai we were approx. 55p!!) the market seems to love treating with disdain all that useful (in a revenue sense) extraction of the black stuff. "Another offload of circa. 450,000bbls!! Yawn, back to sleep"
Petethestreet, Just catching up on the chatter today now and yours had me chuckling.Says exactly what I ( and probably most of us) am feeling right now. The market really despises those humongous offloads of barrels of oil literally now into 7-figure sums. Who'd go and want to buy into a stock like that? All that revenue and all. Jeez, the mind boggles!
Don't expect you really want 'news' from ML after last month surely??
Jeezzz, ownership of HUR shares sometimes feels like death by a thousand cuts does it not??!
Is this destined to be red day after red day until we get some news on LC??
Thank you both AD and F22.
Every day is a school day.
F22, would you care to explain the losses? You clearly want more losses of drilling fluid than less but what is the mechanism of the loss? Where does it go to?
Sorry, 22 years! Too early!
Yes, mine too Kevin, so far....
But I hope to return 300 - 350% with this in way less than 21 years to be fair!!
Think also F22 put up a link about Bach Ho.......?
Thanks SG, I'll have a hunt through for Dspp's links re- that.
Thanks AD,
My description of 'poorly fractured' poorly chosen!
Your description of joint fractures and sub- vertical had me reaching for a Google search though! Joints seem to be of many different types but what then is a sub- vertical one?
A question for those who understand the capabilities and understanding of seismic surveys better than I!
Whilst HUR had all their data from seismic surveys to work with they intersected poorly fractured areas in WD. What sort of limitations arise in the quality of information gleamed from seismic surveys the deeper one goes? Given LC is to be a shallower drill what is the likelihood that they can be more certain of having good quality (or less questionable?) data and intersecting 'good' fractures that will flow commercially because they can be more certain of targeting fractures that will deliver for them?
There is clearly a degree of inaccuracy to this data they work from so thought I'd voice my curiosity.
Genghis
No, but I know one with its sp denominated in p. if that helps!!
Regardless of that Slip, all it seems to be worth, all 700,000 bbls of it, is well a few more red days!!! Jeez!! After the years I've been in here I am finally starting to lose my patience. Even the AM doing tourist sight-seeing trips around the city in Dubai last year was inspiring the market to have us nibbling at mid-50's (ok, maybe spirit helped, for the blink of an eye) but get some decent oil up and whoa matey!! I think Chablard was right the other day when he/she said this has turned into a real traders share through and through. Who knows as nothing seems to make sense here but maybe some really disastrous news might give us a blue day for a change.
"Blue day! Hurricane Energy! Pull the other!!"
Rant over.
F22 I'm curious why you seem to put so much effort into the many abbreviations you put into your messages ( and please it's HUR NOT HE!!) Not being an 'oily' some of which leave me scratching my head before figuring it out yet when it comes to our man at the helm instead of Dr T you plump for the long version and call him Dr Rocks!! Fail to see the logic. However (and meant in a kind way) less abbreviated messages please!!
I'm sure it was AD!
WW that gave me a chuckle!! You clearly not a muso!! And also, for that matter, not amuso!!
;-))
Thanks AD, I'll have to take a look at that. Once caught a Grateful Dead tribute band in a tiny litlle pub/club in Vail when I happened to be skiing there. Moon Over Bourbon Street I think the place was called. They were called 'Jazz is Dead' and had Rod Morgenstein on drums and the bass player from Carlos Santana's band at that time (2001). Big players for dingy little clubs!!! Was a fantastic gig, in fact the contrast between venue and ability in that band made it even better!!
Playing!!
AD.. as you seem to know plenty and a big GD fan I'm curious (as I'm a drummer) who are the two drummers plaguing on that?
