Actually SG2, dummary maybe summed it up better!
Daltry, I have come close to recommending HUR to friends alike but always refrained at the last moment so I sympathise with you on this. If I'm right I think you've been in this longer than most. AIM is a big issue and a great shame the BOD decided a move to the main market was further down their priority list.
Exactly that BD and I know he's given these talks before but what is interesting is the fact that (as far as I'm aware) they've never been live streamed before. Also was that always scheduled or is this a recent decision to stream it?
Would imagine Dr T would have been asked and consented to stream his talk publicly. Suggests to me he is keen to let as many people as possible hear detail of what he has discovered and how they propose to use it/develop it to their advantage.
I could always be wrong of course...

Alibi, TDG - leave it behind. You both have different strategies and at the end of the day doesn't one need the other after all? Agree to disagree and move on. Everyone the better for it :-)
For HUR sp to move quite as it has toward the end of the day here (on absence of news) does make me finally concede that perhaps HUR is leakier than I used to believe the case. Does suggest tO me the RNS could be tomorrow?
Not to put a dampener on ole Malcy but he was incessantly talking about HUR being worth about £1 just under 3 and a half years ago. Wouldn't be putting much faith in Malcy's 'finger in the air' predictions if you've any sense.

Beggars belief that, on the rare occasion HUR put out an RNS, people ( who have invested hard earned cash) take far less time to read it ( and it was short) and take note of what wording was actually used than the time taken to write something ridiculous on here that gives a whole bunch of others the 'jitters' :-(((

HUR have, by tradition almost, always been relatively frugal when it comes to providing RNS's and it is odd that they release the Friday one and also advise another will be forthcoming when testing commences. What I can't help wondering is why the change in their behaviour?? Is it the PR machine just saying "look what you've done over the past 18 months, look what all that effort has done to the value of your company? Come on folks you need to start opening up a little and shouting it from the rooftops or you could find this and the next 3 wells, even if all successful won't do diddly to your value" Maybe the BOD are now just as flabbergasted as most of us here and they've decided to try a little more comms to see what comes of it!?
Dancing shoes Extrader for your information.

Not disagreeing but over the last considerable while it always seems to be red in the a.m. and then restores itself in the p.m. Equally, after that never seems to go anywhere really but there it is.
I imagine management are just as flummoxed as we are Daltry. The Kerogen sale in the summer has clearly had an effect, and a much longer effect(possibly) than I was anticipating on the confidence of other investors. It may just be that added to WD disappointment in an unpredictable and 'risk-off' appetite at this current time that is making it hard. Heck, not even MakinHay is buying a few more at the moment!;-))
My niece was a pupil at Headington Girls School. Not sure if they call them 'pupils' in those types of schools (establishments?)!! Quite an eye-opener it was apparently.
10am your time AK
Correction - they never 'promised' of course. They 'guided' what they thought was achievable.
Totdy- absolutely NOTHING can be determined from the price action of HUR at the moment and in the run up to an RNS. Assume anything and the only thing you can be almost sure of is that you'll be wrong.
The facts as they appear to be at the moment is that HUR are continuing on a monthly basis of offloading tankerloads as they promised. Presently, despite that and the blatant generation of cash the sp moves nowhere really. With the exception of WD they are doing much of what they said they would and the bottom line is consistently going to demonstrate that. In the longer term, that, I hope, will gradually reflect in the perceived value of the company and subsequently the sp. They operate in a geo- politically stable part of the world which ticks a few extra boxes for my level of risk-taking that I'm comfortable with. The cash generation is a biggy for me that ultimately can't be ignored forever by the market. Having said that the sp of this company has sure tested everyone's patience, mine included, and it has been an important lesson in understanding the need for real patience with a stock. I think we'll be fine in the end.......
My apologies LW!! Wrong end of the stick without doubt!!!
May I suggest LW that Amy was possibly servicing you and not the other way round? ;-)
