Cheers Biffa, just wondered if it explained the lower share price if he was selling some for tax purposes. I'm just hoping the overhang or the lack of news keeps the share price down until pay day 🤞

So how does this work?

Is it just a matter of the market absorbing these extra shares? Price remains neutral until done? Or a total lack of understanding from me, open for a little education.

Quick update:

The Cash: The SEC 8-K filing (Feb 6) confirms $MEVO closed its IPO with $300m in the trust account, plus an extra $8m in private "at risk" capital from the directors. They are fully funded.

The Target: prospectus mandate: They are explicitly hunting for companies in the "Critical Minerals and Energy Transition" sectors.

CoTec’s Erez Ichilov sits on the $MEVO board.

Could the silence be linked to this? 40 day quiet period through to mid-March.

At the risk of sounding a little pious, it was nice to see the mine being visited and read how our investment are helping Malawi build a national strategy to ensure their mining boom alleviates poverty rather than just exporting rocks.

It does feel like the focus is on getting the framework right before specific investments are made. Got to trust the BoD are working there backsides off getting things ready for some formal coordinated announcements across borders.

It's definitely got the macro wind behind us, we're in the right place. Guess it's just patience and trust needed.....there is something brewing out there!
