MM reply to Brent Hoberman:
“Brent Hoberman Exactly true. A dirty business that moves money from small retail investors into the offshore pockets of a chosen few. Zero risk of action from the LSE or FCA, making the LSE such an easy market for wrong doing”
Good to see MM showing empathy with us PIs
I did! I also found a little tiny man to play a song on it for me & Ste:

What I find an interesting coincidence is that both THG and Kelso have indicated a TU by end of April, and that both are similarly vague on dates.
Kelso had previously guided to TU and strategy update by end of March, and as someone on here said it’s not like this should be particularly complicated for them to achieve. It feels like there is something kind of concertedness or interdependence.
I also noticed that, as of Jan this year, Kelso stopped referring to themselves in their RNS’ as “listed investment company”, instead favouring “listed acquisition vehicle”.
Foil hat thinking or what…
Well the Ste2000 account in ADVFN was set up by RT/Toansy/havinthelasttoast/etc as a parody account. First few days of using it was largely for racial slurs - this was around the time that Toansy was openly hostile to Frankle. I don’t think they started off as the same person, but then Ste2000 on LSE doesn’t much sound like the same person he used to be so who knows what’s currently going on.
He’s weirdly sounding more and more like his parody account over on ADVFN as well:
- cash machine
- duster
- larf
Weird as he used to be a balanced poster, now just comes across a bit frantic. I actually look forward to drops (perversely) to see how long it takes Ste to comment. I also look forward to rises too so happy either way lol
Hopping on the bandwagon…
Product innovation, new flavours, brand partnerships (eg vimto). Check!
In-house influencer scheme. Check!
Expansion into new territories with carefully tailored product offering (eg India). Check!
Investment in local production facilities to mitigate currency risk. Check!
Maybe barriers to entry aren’t huge but there’s a good few barriers to doing it right.
