B. Bat-Erdene, Minister of the Ministry of Education and Culture: I do not think that your country has such a lenient law. Your company needs to fulfill the tasks issued by our State Inspector General without questioning. I will give you one month's time to fulfill the Mongolian court's decision and the State Inspector General's official task. On December 1st, we will not accept an official letter saying "in progress or processing". I will visit the reality myself.
remove all affecting violations. Your company has been operating in Mongolia for 18 years. I'm giving you a month to go and see what he's done over the past 18 years. In addition, it will not be accepted to disrespect the citizens who are fighting for their land.
General Director of "Petro China Dachin Tamsag" LLC Zhu Dali said: "We will not run away from the problem, we will follow the laws of Mongolia. We will eliminate the violations."

IF YOU ARE OPERATING IN THE TERRITORY OF MONGOLIA, YOU SHOULD OPERATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RELEVANT LAWS
The Minister of Environmental Protection B. Bat-Erdene held a bilateral meeting with the managers of "Petrochaina Dachin Tamsag" LLC on the issue of eliminating violations and negative impacts on the environment.
At the meeting, General Director Zhu Dali, Executive Director Kang Dechuan, the company's Environmental Specialist U. Nachin, Head of the Mongolian Chinese Culture and Art Association, Rentsen, Head of the Department of Environmental Assessment and Audit of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, attended the meeting. Inspectors and experts of Enkhmunkh, Branch Inspection Department participated.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Environmental Protection B. Bat-Erdene said - I do not conduct a full analysis of air, soil, water, and wastewater as indicated in the detailed environmental impact assessment and environmental monitoring analysis, which are violations found during the inspection conducted during my tenure as Minister. I would like to ask about 4 issues that do not take measures to reduce the negative impact, do not fully implement the duties of environmental protection, and do not eliminate the detected violations within the specified time.
1. "Environment, water quality, waste water General requirements MNS4943:2015" is supplying waste water to nature,
2. There is no unified warehouse for storing chemicals, the storage and protection requirements of chemicals are not met,
3. Due to the non-introduction of oil-contaminated soil purification technology, a large amount of accumulation is polluting the environment.
. Due to the lack of on-site supervision during the remediation of the drilling fluid tailings pool, the quality of the remediation is not satisfactory. I would like to ask you what measures the Chinese government would take if a Mongolian company committed such a violation while operating in the territory of China. We officially inform you that if these violations are not eliminated, measures will be taken up to closing your business.
General Director of "Petro China Dachin Tamsag" LLC, General Director Zhu Dali: - If such a violation has been committed in our country, we will issue a time-bound task to eliminate the violation, and measures will be taken according to the cooperation agreement between the two parties. It will not immediately stop the operation without giving an opportunity to eliminate the violation.

Real-Talk Badamsuren is the governor of Dornod Province who has been against PM for a long time. Times are changing in Dornod, Eastern Province where they will be looking after their own budgets instead of Central. He needs companies like Matad onside to be able to contribute to his budget.
This was the post on the Ikon news report and the comment made against the report which is good news for Petro Matad

For the benefit of the Mongolian nation, we from the Eastern Province are behind this. Fly around the world like an eagle again. The Eastern Province will support our government in all aspects and lead the way. First of all, mining and oil production should be licensed and promoted with money to help the people. You have seen from our activities how we supported Petro Matad LLC to get a special land permit and start production by the government's decree next week. All operators of fields 19, 20 and 21 in Matad Province will be subject to future environmental regulations but will support mining.

Looks like Dornod governor who was originally anti Petro China and Petro Matad has changed sides. Activist is not happy with him. Think now that he will be looking after Dornods budget and not Central government he knows which side his breads buttered. He knows he will be held responsible by locals more so than anything. IMO I think we are finally getting the locals onside. Hopefully a RNS soon, but a few more days of SP increases won't hurt. ATB everyone hope our patience is due to be paid off
Doc, seems like that email to the PM Chairperson has got some reaction, followed up original email to her and said why don't PM post on their twitter (X) page just to k us investors informed and see below

WOS, yes i know you did say in your post, but was good to get it confirmed, but we shouldn't have to be asking the question. PM should of posted on their Twitter page and stated we will be attending the Responsible Mining. How much does it cost for one little Twitter (X) just to keep investors in the loop. I do believe that all is coming good, but doesn't distract from the fact the communications coming out of PM or lack of is appalling and i hold Buck responsible for that and in my eyes due to his arrogance.
Doc, good call you made, had a reply from Admin as per below
Our Mongolian Executive Director and Head of Government Relations attended the Responsible Mining Meeting in Dornod Province this week
Fair play to the Chairperson for replying.
I emailed, Buck and Admin at PM and referenced the FB link and mentioned the Responsible Mining Meeting when it was first seen on FB and said i hoped you or someone from Matad are going to be there. I had no reply. I emailed them again this week and said please confirm that PM are going to be attending. Same again no reply. The communication from PM to private investors is appalling, utterly disgraceful.
BP, you're the desperate one. You would hate this to come good. WOS posts are for links from Dornod Province, he hasn't made these up.
You're such a sad, narcissistic person who would love PM to fail just so you could say, "told you so" to make you feel important, whereas all the people on here with the exception of you are here to make money and want everyone to prosper from this. Just typically shows the type of person you are.
Thornogson, further to my posts, it has been difficult but I am still holding. For all that has happened over the last few years and from what I have learnt, I still believe this will come good for all us patient, suffering investors.
