Thank you for your message. I can only refer to my previous replies. I continue to support Petro Matad to resolve the licencing issue as soon as possible with the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, who have primary responsibility for the oil/gas sector in Mongolia. Petro Matad’s operational update of 14 February (here) noted the progress which is being made. I appreciate the delays are frustrating but I am doing what I can to resolve this issue.

researchandhold, ref the LP and we all hope it will be sorted soon - not sure when, i know investors are looking forward to Velociraptor but tend to forget about Gazelle - close to Heron. Heron yes there are 60 million recoverable there but there is a potential of 200 million barrels recoverable at Gazelle. As we know LP opens up everything to PM. Lets hope its here soon

Hopefully Bigbench, Mongolia should be back to work after New Years holidays on Monday so hoping we can hear some positive news next week. Not a given, but keeping fingers crossed.

Hamm, too easy to just filter people like BP and let him carry on posting constant negative stuff on here. This is a decent BB board where debate is good, yes there are some who over the top ramp, and some who deramp, but you know who they are. Look at BP's previous posts and the comments off other members on this board regards him.

Jimi, stick with it mate, you've posted some cracking "finds", give it until Q2 and lets see where PM are then. Can confirm am also pretty bloody frustrated, but i'm into my 9th year so waiting now until Q2 when hopefully we will see the LP and Velociraptor both come in and then we will be saying it was all worth the heart ache and pain !!!

Just a thought, as previously mentioned and I’m not sticking up for Buck, as I believe he knew about the land issues surrounding Block XX when he decided not to drill it many years ago and went for Snow Leopard etc when he knew there was an excellent chance of an oil discovery at Block XX. Buck’s error is he should of sorted Block XX out years ago and I believe left it and thought it would just happen.
IMO with everything going on in Mongolia, with the government trying to sort coal theft corruption, brown paper bag payments. Licences/permits being held up by certain MP’s for their own agendas, I believe the Central Government now wants to put laws in place so there aren’t issues with land permits moving forward, so unless there is a valid reason for holding up a permit they are automatically granted locally. I don’t think the GOM want to overrule the local governments. The land belongs to the local people so I believe they want them to make the decisions so they benefit Don’t forget they have recently put in new laws for individuals who try and stop licence/permits being granted. These people now face imprisonment. The Deputy PM has recently been in Dornod province sorting out the Petro China issue with their lack of work with the local people. This is going to help Matad. The GOM have also now set up provincial offices in all the main exploration areas. Provincial (Central led) to help local governors on things like land issues. So I think they are putting all these in place so in future there won’t be the same issues as Matad have been having. I don’t think the Central government want to be involved in this anymore and to let it be sorted locally. I believe when the Mining Minister said 1 to 3 months, he was most likely genuine and Buck believed him hence why he said we were fully funded in December as he thought we would taking the oil out the ground early this year, but I believe the GOM are the ones who have now changed that and realized that it needs wholesale changes for the smooth running in the future not just a quick fix, meaning it’s not Buck’s fault, if the GOM have moved the goalposts. What I would like Buck to explain in detail tomorrow is his rationale/reasons for the new placing against what he said in December. Confirm why he has done it and what the money he has raised is being spent on and break it down for everyone and all explain and confirm the Heron issue in full, not a few notes in a RNS.
Anyway as said my thoughts, most probably wrong but lets see tomorrow
