Kefi isn't about the near future but about the countdown to FCF. Harry is an accountant and endeavours to arrange the business to maximise equity ownership and in Ethiopia he wants to engage locally and reward locally through his Kefi Ethiopia entity as they will be shy of the shareholding route. Whether it will work or not I haven't passed judgement on but he is an accountant and can do the NPV and plan for a growing KEFI which leverages on the in country esteem in which he is held.

Near term scenarios is not a worry atm as imo he positions for the future with confidence in Jeff Rayner for prospecting and Lycopodium for development and knowing every day is one closer to producing.

I have to agree YKIR except that the language does hide Phulbari within it. I am hoping BNP can get a backbone with the help of the opposition otherwise why set up the special committee. They are in a bind with having to keep the lights on but unable to give the GL and the reason for that would probably start a riot so hence the committee decision pending.

The SoD has been on the desk for many years, it is the people and government of Bangladesh who are slow to move things along and they cannot do that any longer. They have to show the world they want to help themselves. Their garment industry will start shrinking soon.

Bigger picture planned for Bangladesh here. China needs the overburden to construct the mine site infrastructure and surrounding projects to do with transport or worker accommodation. I expect the mine mouth power stations will take two years to build so overburden useful there.

You want to have your cake and eat it Hubstar. ARTAR needs a partner that can mine so a ready made vehicle and partnership like GMCO would be a good deal for a major. If you want a 'royalty' the major will provide dividends instead.

GMCO when set up as its own entity will have to give us the 13% stake in shares which we can sell/hold as we choose but more importantly a major miner can conduct a takeover subsequently and partner ARTAR as player capable of buying bigger shares of projects via their development skills in mining.
