21 August 2019, San Francisco and London - Blackbird plc (AIM: BIRD), the developer and seller of the market-leading cloud video platform Blackbird, will participate in the Google Cloud Partner Pavilion at IBC 2019.
Nothing like endorsement by well known tech giant and should turbo charge use of Blackbird. SP might even fly some more max19 . I hope they will collaborate in the US conferences too. Only an RNS Reach though but SP has responded.

Stock picking is tricky but as a hub for population movement as well as commerce the GB is a good location for the GBG business and recent business takeovers help build the international side up. Tech application is maybe vulnerable to trade wars slowing down facial recognition ? and other high tech used by the business but the traditional transaction data side will always be there and grows. I was pleased to read the international revenues up from 34% to 45% which I would suggest must be more customers for the bread and butter recurring business of fraud identification by transactions analysis.

I think the eps maybe does not register the fact they have lost the property development side of the business. I wish they would not say their goal is 20% increase etc. etc., the results are good but why set yourself up for a fall?

I must confess it makes me nervous splurging on a young company with a hip name and just three years of good figures (easily massaged and propects of maintaining performance slim?). However I think for GBG to grow the international reach and dominant position will be required and it helps to improve the expertise.

Prior to Trump it was QE at least Trump is exposing how the World is in debt and attempting to man the ramparts. In an interconnected economy VOD is global and will suffer from a global recession especially in Europe. I was bullish on VOD at the start of 2018. It has dropped a long way and can't believe it will drop anymore. Surely a lowering of dividend is priced in.

Incidentally I don't travel on the line but do they still call it the Great Western Railway and if so using GWR might be more correct? but concede the vernacular must be FGW nowadays.
