Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
My thoughts exactly Mozax. IES (or it’s products) will add billions in future value so I just hope they stick tight and turn this company into an Amazon or Apple of the NexGen Energy world. Next 5-10 years could see absolutely amazing returns here. GLA
Once SP broke through 342, charts show support at 286 so was without news and in current climate, was always going to walk down. Fundamentals haven’t changed so an opportunity to top up when it gets there bar any surprise news good or bad!!
I’m now happy to accept that the lack of news in between the last couple of sales reported by RNS are due to the fact that the team at IES just have their heads down and are hard at work taking the business forward and creating wealth for its shareholders :-))
Agree, if you look at what’s happened in the last year or 2, global partnerships and development has been very good and meaningful sizeable sales now starting to come through so IES is in its strongest position to date and the latest sale being its biggest to date really does feel like that’s the corner we were all waiting for it to turn!!!! GLA
Despite the very positive market reaction to China Covid policy and the FED’s inflation talk, we don’t even see a single trade in IES after the markets have been open for an hour and a half!!!! Anyone else feeling that ‘I’m going to get well and truly shafted feeling (again)!!!’
That is one stunning 2 wheel machine!!!!! Been watching from the sidelines to wait for the ‘doom mungers’ to fall silent which the recent significant SP increase and Director buys (finally!) appears to have done!!! GLA all LTH, let’s hope we’re now on a sustained path of positivity and that the worst is behind us all.
COP27 kicks off today so let’s hope coverage and the need for real environmental and clean energy gives a much needed leg up here. IES just needs one transformational sale or piece of development news to completely re-rate here. Personally, I think the latter will come first in the way of partnership/product development and the sales will then come soon after. GLA
With you Toffeeman. I’m up 78% here (everything else I hold still negative but close to recovery on a few!!) and holding for at least the next quarter as winter and China reopening should further boost oil IMO. GLA
Morning all. In May 2021 when IES announced the JV with SG, SG had the share option as detailed below:
Invinity and Gamesa Electric have also entered into an Option Agreement granting Gamesa Electric or its nominee within the SGRE group an option for 9.99 per cent. of Invinity's issued share capital as at the date of this announcement (the "Option", the "Option Shares") at £1.75 per share, the same as Invinity's most recent placing in December 2020. If the option were to be exercised, Gamesa Electric or its nominee would have the right to appoint a director to Invinity's board subject to Gamesa Electric or its nominee maintaining a minimum 5% shareholding in Invinity. The ability to exercise the Option is subject to Company shareholders' approval. Further updates will be provided to shareholders in due course.
I don’t think there’s been any update since so wondered if anyone can shine more light on this relationship since the last RNS stated next gen products that were being jointly developed between IES & SG were being well received by potential clients.
Have SG been buying on the open market at anytime as clearly wouldn’t make sense for them to be taking their options to buy IES shares at £1.75 when the SP has been/is where it is at the moment?
Will be a strong endorsement if SG have been buying but at the same time and with prices being where they are, they must be a front runner to make a move to takeover IES if next gen product development between the two going well so perhaps they’ll just keep working in harmony until SG feel the time is right to buyout IES?
