Goldman Sachs Global Head of Commodities announced on Bloomberg today that equities of Oil and metals companies will be the big winners in 2023 with potential 40% returns. Will be adding more here before the year’s out as I will in BHP also. GLA
I’d also been scratching my head as to why no Director buys were happening but it is now clear that they’re privy to the sensitive financial position IES finds itself in. Long term I think IES will be fine but in the interim and until financial clarity/stability is in place, there will be risks of further ups and downs in the SP. When we see sizeable Director buys, that’ll be the best indication (for me) that the company is in a much better position financially. GLA
Since covid started in 2020, the environment in which AML has had to wade through to date could not have been much worse. Whilst there’s still a number of uncertain dynamics in many parts of the world, if we are slowly turning a corner with inflation (Morgan Stanley quoted ‘absolutely has topped) Russia and China, then with the suite of investors we now have onboard, AML can hopefully start to really fulfil its potential and accelerate the turnaround plan.
