Newmont just been highlighted on CNBC by Josh Brown as ‘the largest gold miner in the world whose costs to extract gold are $1600/oz which they can sell at $3300 so the best position they’ve been in in a long time and could be a good play for anyone that’s missed the rally in physical gold prices as the miners will now catch up’.

You know damn well that anyone who hears that will be piling in to gold miners given the math alone but add all the geopolitical uncertainty and global debt (especially US and the treasury market showing real worrying signs) - hold tight all!! 😁

SP consolidating nicely at these levels ready for the next leg up! 😁

If upcoming results and guidance do not offer any real positives and turnaround in the SP (not that I expect them to), I’ll be out and taking my medicine with a £10k loss. The neglect of shareholders and blatant ‘self profiting’ from MM and BOD is truly staggering and anyone thinking the FCA will do anything about it is sadly mistaken. They do what they do because they can and it is us shareholders that intimately pay. £1.70 rejected out of hand and what will this go for now?!!!! Quite literally criminal misrepresentation.

Lesson for me from this is make sure you know who is running the company and that they’re genuinely upholding their fiduciary duties to shareholders first and foremost.

Fortunately, I’ve wised up the last 6-12 months and not been afraid to sell out of poor positions for far more solid and promising companies with excellent management and prospects which has paid dividends as in just the last month alone my ISA has regained 30%.

Check out Greatland Gold, could literally be a gold mine moving forward and that sector in general has been on a tear but with all the geopolitically uncertainty and global debt out there, gold and its miners still looking very attractive. Got to be very selective in equities right now.

Makes you laugh - 1000 people object raising fire concerns but do they even realise VRFB’s don’t catch fire!!!! And banging on about agriculture/landscape but will be the same people that bang on about the environment and high energy bills yet these sort of projects and developments mitigate all of that!!! Just no pleasing some people but it won’t stop these projects as they’re crucial in so many ways - energy continuity and security being right at the top plus ticks the environmental box and cheaper energy bills going forward

Loskins - I feel your pain and too first bought in here in 2016 so it’s been death by a thousand cuts up until recently. I do feel we’re genuinely in the best position we can be to date and the global market opportunities, supported by the Cap & Floor (amongst other waivers/regulatory support) along with Endurium launch gives us a very real chance of finally seeing IES become all ‘grown up’ and a serious player in this market. I hope so as I’ve averaged all the way down since first buying in but still need SP to double until break even though I’m holding out for many multiples from here over the longer term. Good luck 👍

Normi, think Peter Schiff is bang on! Decades of financial abuse, incompetence and corruption by Western Politicians and their elitist friends is all coming home to roost now. Sadly it will be our sons and daughters in their teens/20’s right now that will suffer the consequences which is why it’s key we all make up for that by ensuring our investments here and elsewhere our bountiful. Why would anyone ‘think’ a plan will crystallise in April? What plan and why? Please provide logic, facts, links otherwise your statement is not worth the paper it’s written on. So many posts on here say ‘this is going to happen, that’s going to happen’ and look where we are.

The facts right now is that the SP is absolutely crushed from its IPO and nothing yet to materially suggest things will really improve any time soon.

Better spending your time and energy on looking at other companies with real potential and just wait to see what formal news/action comes out from THG bwo RNS. GLA

Bang on Doozer. The reality is that either inflation or growth will have to be sacrificed - it will come down to what the ‘experts’ believe is the lesser of two evils! My personal opinion is that the US has to get rates down given its debt which will support growth but fuel inflation so hang on to your hats!!!

Ilivesushi- if as you say the ‘company is hiding the figures’, on what figures/facts (please quote them/provide links) are you basing your statement on (that Endurium is being sold at less than cost)?

Perhaps a few at THG should stop for a second and think about what happened to Brian Thompson - the CEO shot dead in New York. I’m in no way advocating that was right or making any threat of any kind but there’s always someone out there bigger and or preparing to go to the next level. The political and elitist factions of the developed world (and just about everywhere else on the planet in all honesty) are seriously taking the pi55 out of the ‘ordinary joe’. There’s only so much they’ll take IMO.

Im down 50% here and whilst that amount is far from pleasing, it’s not life changing but those that went in heavy at IPO here have been well and truly shafted

I know todays rise is good but can those that have been here for 5 minutes and already hijacked this board with running commentary every 5 minutes please refrain!! We can all see what’s happening to the SP at any moment. Some of us have been invested here for many years and until this company announces significant and continual contracted sales, it’s best to keep things on a level as seen this go up and down more times than I care to remember!!! Yes the potential looks very good but we’re still sitting on the subs bench and need to get on the pitch and score!!!!! GLA
