Barclays Capital today reaffirms its underweight investment rating on Lonmin PLC (LON:LMI) and cut its price target to 40p (from 65p).

i rarely read the RNSs..too many of them. mostly form 8.3 and 8.5

on a tear at the moment. pushing commodity prices down esp. gold. LMI closed at 39p in the red.

i still maintain my target for oil price as posted here yesterday.

well gold took a tumble today and hit a 2 and half year low. as i posted yesterday gold was on a cliff edge.. same with oil.

strong open but pulling back a wee bit now to 760. support at 737. LMI SP holding up well given where SGL is trading today.

no overnight bounce. target $69.40. game on.

you know when its time to sell when the MMs taking the **** by ticking up the offer price to 210p and leaving the bid the same ;-) i sold a fair chunk at 204p just before the close. for some reason the TA site i frequent isn't showing a chart for RTHM. 210p isn't so far away from resistance level.

my target for brent is now $69.40. momentum is gathering pace to the downside!

the bearish pattern that was previously identified is finally confirmed and a SELL signal is generated.

80s will look expensive if oil gets to $60 and PMO is kicked out the FTSE 250. lol

if you think $72 is a nightmare then try $60..that would be all of this year's gains wiped out. but oil price still higher than a year ago.

WTI crude breaking below last week’s lows at $68.35 with the 100DMA at $68.05 now under threat..

brent hasn't been $67 since early April this year..charts never lie.

overshot my target of $72.25! jeez. next target $5 lower from here..$67!! no ****.

$2.36, pulling back a wee bit. i have funds in place to buy back at $2.27 so thats 3.8% lower from here. might end up 2.5% better off for selling. not sure i'd even be buying at $2.27 yet.

sold my small holding of 2650 shares at $2.37 bang on a resistance. i'll take that, pre-market was showing $2.26 earlier.. but SGL turned from red to blue. sold at breakeven after all fees. a wee £2.55 loss!
SBGL hit $2.37 3 times so far today and was showing $2.38 when i sold.
GBP/USD very close to year low. one reason for selling, but hasn't changed that much since i bought the shares.

big volume today. possibly a bigger rise tomorrow..
