very nice rise today. its because results are due in a couple of weeks? i bought back in at 61p a couple days ago and sold out yesterday. last sale was at 64.5p. SP was 57p last week be careful, 59p could be the top of a range. but knowing my luck this will rise to 74p today.

overbought. $70 is today's target.

what if platinum don't recover and we hit a recession? can't be too far away from one of those.

things don't always drop in a straight line. this wee rise could turn out to be a dead cat bounce. the rise may not have much legs.

could see brent bounce to $74 but not out of the woods yet.. fools will rush in to buy oil stocks in the morning and left holding the baby. be careful. still time for oil to pull back before close today.

i'm far from clueless.. i'm using TA. you have to look at the oil price over time-frames & opening/closing price to determine if its overbought and the next support & resistance levels. the clueless ones buy in on 1st sight of an oil price rise. oil price looking a little perky, maybe its overbought right now. if you see a big drop this evening then yes its overbought.

sterling bouncing off today's low. now at 1.307, i think it could easily gain 1c from here. that would take it back to the last 5 days avg.

SGL closed at 731

new 52 week low made at $2.22 before it bounced to $2.30. i think it will close at $2.25

SGL has never closed below 737. i think next support area could be around 675. by then LMI's SP could be 30p who knows?..

closed at 38.50p. its getting close to my buy zone here. maybe if SGL retests the 715 and LMI SP tracks it..

chart looks horrible. maybe 30p is possible. there is no real support under 38p. awful for the longs here esp. if held since late last year.

Olivia just popping her head above the parapet. wants to take in the view at $72.50 because won't be seeing that again for awhile? i'll see where oil closes today and how it opens tomorrow. that should give a clue as to if its going down to $70 or not. WTI testing the resistance level right now..

with sterling so low i think LMI may be a better buy than SBGL.

GBP/USD is at october low (1.3027). from here could go lower to 1.24 or higher to maybe 1.35. if its heading even lower then SBGL could be a good buy right now. in for a bounce in SP and a gain on the currency movement. or wait for sterling to get to 1.35 and maybe SBGL will be even lower by then.. mmmmm
