WTI has just opened a wee bit below the next fib support level.. if it drops more maybe brent will be opening at $70 just imagine that DBNO right all along :D

Givingthelowdown - that chart you posted shows $71.02 support. thats where i think brent will open in an hour or so.. sorry but your $73.50 will have to wait.

WTI just began trading $1.50 lower! WTI is now $67.94 vs circa $69.40 a couple of hours ago! maybe brent will open near $71..

brent $72.40 may be significant but i'm getting a different read on oil looking at WTI. i know PMO trades in brent but where WTI goes brent should go too? WTI has broken below a fib level but only just and its holding quite steady for now. i still think path of least resistance for oil is down and next major support area is circa $70 brent.

Givingthelowdown - oil not held those levels, its just broken below 72.4. its always better to wait to see if oil holds a level over a 4 hour time-frame for confirmation that the break has held. its bang on 4 hours now at 6pm and its not held. $70 oil is now in play. close price for oil is important but i don't think it will snap back.

Givingthelowdown - i don't think this bounce has much legs and will pull back before close.. the good news (if long oil or oil stocks) is that oil is still within a bullish channel up. BUT if that gets broken then $60 is possible. i'm sure the Saudis can live with $60 oil. what about a China slow down if this trade war continues? copper is now back at 2017 levels. brent just dropped $1 from today's high..
