just offloaded a few more. got 71.23p. oil hitting resistance now.

could be alot more if oil breaks resistance.. then maybe 15-20% rise.

back in again at 175.82p on Friday. only held for a 4p gain (less fees) last time. hopefully for more profit this time!!

yes laidback, back in here with a good size holding. i want to trade oilies more often now. no doubt there will be a few spikes on the way back up when the SP recovers.

a bounce in oil price will come. even if its only caused by a short-term oil outage somewhere.

same here MrD added at 74p yesterday to increase my holding from 5,000 to 20,000 then a wee top early this morning at 71.86p thinking that was a good price..d.oh! then several top ups all under 70p. bought £5.5k in Tullow Oil in the 175s too.

i notice this evening that WTI has sunk lower but brent is off the lows. so not quite tracking each other exactly. not good as WTI has closed below support..

i'm worried how markets will react come Monday after the EU meeting on Sunday. if its not a good outcome then i think FTSE 250 stocks will get hit hard. not sure about FTSE 100 stocks as the weak pound helps with their earnings? same with Premier.

maybe a bounce coming in the next hour IMO. before 5:30pm.

i think oil stocks could be good to hold into summer next year as there is only the oil price driving the price. so even if the stock market wobbles, oil stocks may hold up well.

i always had 66.6p as a target. easy to remember. devils number!

i wasn't expecting my trade to get actioned as the price ticked up. so i bought at the live bid price. doesn't always work that way though. hope i'm wrong but there could be still a bit more downside to oil price today. no bounce as of yet..

with today being Thanksgiving day there was going to be some cheap stocks on offer with the lower volume. today i bought PMO, SOU and WPP. all are at near current year lows now.

didn't get my sub 73p buy in though i was very close. i ended up buying some Sound Energy (SOU) near 15p instead.. but i had to reduce in one of my other stocks in the process. luckily i got 1% above the close price so maybe a good trade.

oil price seems steady at the moment. surely thats a positive for oil stocks now after the recent fall.

yup. i said at the time if you see 144p i'd grab it. that day the high was 142p. back in August i said top of range was 140 and bottom of range 85p as a rough guide. looks like the bottom fell out today..

i got a target couple pence under 70p. if it gets there by then hopefully some of my other stocks gain. bought some WPP this morning at 828p. it was looking bullish yesterday and closed at 863p but today on thanksgiving day it fell like a stone.
