i just sold some OPHR today and i got the days high so far near enough.

gaps on Premier and Tullow Oil. will surely get filled if oil breaks that support level WTI 52.80 (i know PMO trades brent..)

FTSE 100 futures show up about 1.5%, i guess FTSE 250 will be up less than that. oil up but still within its recent range. S&P 500 futures up a little over 2%. Energy sector leading the gains i think.

they not said how much of a cut it will be.. a cut of 1.4m bpd is needed to avoid glut mk2. The Saudis and Russians have been cheating on the other opec members by increasing production since May. and won't cut unless other opec members cut too. and then there is Trump to consider who wants lower oil price. can't upset him too much and risk thoses lucrative arms deals can they?

likewise i could say its priced in, otherwise brent would be much lower.

remember when there was a cut at the last opec meeting, the oil price dropped afterwards.

a cut already priced in. why wouldn't it? unless its a bigger than expected cut. but seems unlikely as Russia seems v.reluctant to cut.

ok Premier had a blue day and Tullow a red day don't gloat too much Auson its only a 0.78% rise!! a good day for me too.. MATD up as much as 10% today got me to breakeven. but what a crap day today it was for domestic stocks, many down 5-10%. FTSE 100 futures up almost 0.5% since LSE close. a wee bounce on wall street.

crappy close. and there was me thinking i did well getting back in at 32p this morning.. UK indices fell sharply just before 4pm tracking the US market. that partly explains the late drop. US market has now recovered half of that drop.

but why the drop today and not yesterday?? whats changed since yesterday?

thats true. i just bought back Thomas Cook (TCG) shares at 32p this morning. i sold at 38p for a profit a few days ago. Friday is a good day for buying. likewise Monday is often a good day for selling.

maybe a bounce back up to 120p if best we can hope for today. just need a few big buyers to come in and the selling to reduce.

those AT trades must be shorters. they are running out of ammo selling 1 share at a time now.

SK, oil is dropping now. like i said at $60.50 its hitting resistance area and likely overbought on some bogus tweet from Russia.

Tullow Oil closed up 3%, Premier Oil closed up 2%. the other stooge Enquest closed in the red. my point was Tullow did quite well vs. other oilies.

200 DMA here is 105p and its dropping daily. its dropped below the 50 DMA. i think a death cross is when its the other way round?

Tullow Oil did well today. news of it paying a dividend in 2019 lifted the SP i think.
