brent just dropped 70c yet WTI only dopped 20c from today's highs. a bit of a divergence there.

US fed to raise rates in an hour and give forecast for 2019? watch the USD. at 96 pivot right now. if it goes to 100 then 78p is off limits this year. or will USD head towards 92..

On global slowdown. Europe seems to be the bad boy. this news came after US markets closed. expect weak open tomorrow. fears of a coming recession are driving the markets and oil lower. I'd have thought couriers are one of the leading indicators of recession..

maybe a bounce in oil this evening. WTI could try to regain $47 support. that would take the oil price to about what it was when LSE market closed. API data out 9:30 i think a 3.2m draw expected.

$45.62 is next support. nearly there!

oil at $10-20, are you expecting a big recession next year? i do think the global economy is slowing. look at ASOS down 40% today, they do alot of trade in europe i think.

i'm all in the market now. stocks i sold last Thu/Fri are down but i put the proceeds into some retails stocks (MKS being one) before the bad headlines over the weekend and ASOS falling 40% today hasn't helped..
The only oil stocks i'm in are OPHR and MATD. Need one of my stocks to come good so i can put some money into PMO. but i want to see if WTI $49 holds. If that breaks then i think PMO will drop below 65p support again.

Givingthelowdown, technicals told me oil was going lower thats why i sold. WTI heading towards low $49s, its got there already.
