if US markets recover this evening it could send oil back up..

i sold shares in ASOS (ASC) this morning and they are down 6% now.

the VIX is the highest its been since maybe 2011.

something is still spooking the markets today.

i think WTI going to $44.00 before any support found.

WTI $45.46 tested. failed to regain it. more downside from here imo.

56.80p support getting tested.. 55p could come very quickly if oil doesn't bounce.

well thats a kick in the teeth. Olivia pulled back from WTI $47. solid resistance there. be careful.. oil price could easily fall back to where it was a day or so ago. watch and wait mode for me.

up only 1.2%. after the biggest daily rise on wall street for probably years thats a bit disappointing. oil holding onto gains though.

no Krakenoil i got out a little bit better than breakeven. i topped up at 55.8p so gained 4% on those (less fees).
i'm not sure what to make of this rally in stocks and oil yet. will it continue? its a good close for oil being above a key resistance level.
i'm 100% invested except for the funds released selling PMO on Monday (20,000 shares). i do think the sell-off is overdone as it probably pricing in a 50% chance of recession within the next year. and the chance of that is less imo.

any API data yet? EIA data out Friday 4pm i think.

oil going to $40, thats WTI not brent.

i sold out PMO today at just under 58p. didn't expect oil to drop quite so quickly though!
