reversal of the $3.50 oil price gain?

win some loose some. i sold OPHR 2 trading days ago and today a takeover RNS lands. +35% today
i'll make that loss with PMO but not today. will wait for lower entry in the 50s

FTSE 250 just turned positive. it was down 1.5% this morning.

this is going back to c.55p. the only reason for the huge rise on Monday was alot of money from US pension funds looking for a home imo. i paid sub 55p for PMO and that was when brent a little higher than it is today.

brent dropped to $50 then bounced 10% a week ago. i wouldn't rule out a retest.. don't seem much support for brent under 52.50. its just 40c away from that price now.

momentum building to the downside now. down 3% off this mornings high.

i paid under 55p for these shares when brent was $53.17, brent is now $52.90 and SP close 66p. oversold or now overbought? mmmmmmm

many oil stocks up 15% in last couple of days. well done SK on your buys of GENL and ENQ. I was hoping for 56p today not 66p!

didn't know about it going ex-dividend yesterday. i paid 116p yesterday and sold today for 121.2p.

US markets didn't continue the rally today so i'm not expecting a strong open on Monday. half day trading.

when is the xmas update? i'll have some funds ready just in case we see sub £1??

the chart for oil looks rubbish. if markets sink in 2019 then it will surely be a drag on oil price.

US markets finish today in the red. i'm loving this volatility.

i don't like the drop in oil price today. i sold my Ophir Energy (OPHR) at the afternoon's high which was less than the opening price (c.35p?). strange how Premier moved up all day and other oil stocks like Ophir trended down.

gutted to see Sound Energy (SOU) double bag since i bought in 2 weeks ago. seems i sold way too soon. its up 36% today.

up over 8% on the day when oil price is a fair bit lower.. mmmmmmm

i'm expecting stocks to drop in US trading before a late day rally but by then London market will be closed. so i'll be looking to buy on good drops into the close today. i think oil could go back down to WTI 42.50 but more likely after API data comes out.

whats measley about 8.5% profit for 1 hours work? i bought at 16:07 yesterday and sold 08:52:17 today :)

i'm not sure we'll see 60p tomorrow. 58p yes. oil hasn't risen much. brent is up $1 off the low.

i want to hold into the new year. the bots will be buying for the pension funds into year end?

up 3% in the last 90 minutes. impressive. need some follow through tomorrow to kick oil up higher.
