Very interesting. I take that as a positive. I’ve already submitted my question: will this year be breakeven?!

Unless they do Elsol, lol. But the facts seem to speak for themselves, thankfully, in that Itaconix manufactured Polyitaconate polymers are now specd into hundreds of products and the list is growing. Real sales to a real and growing customer base, which is what perhaps underpins John Shaw’s unflinching, understated, (and for us not communicated enough) unswavering confidence in the hugely positive destination awaiting Itaconix, when it (finally!) arrives.

Another day, another day down - on measley volume, knocking us down nearly 5%. Having been here a long long time, opportunity cost is now beginning to level peg with FOMO. There just doesn’t seem to be much interest by new investors coming on board in any significance. It really is a great story, but the board really must help a bit more in taking us with them on the journey to breakeven and beyond to that $100M business which JS has often spoken about.

Thanks Elsol. Hopefully soon there’ll be a boatload of reasons for new buyers to arrive. It’s been flatlining a longtime - longer than I expected.

Two great posts loot, thank you. I agree, if they launch, they should do a full launch, ideally. Having said that, P&G and Unilever, & Henkel Marketeers could without any problem have SAP products on shelves with a 10, 20, 50% greener tag, and consumers would respond to that, I think. That would also enable a transitory supply chain switch. Whenever I see a Snickers with “now 10% more peanuts” I’m right in there.

Good luck with the fresh Purchases Smart, a good time to buy, I think. Of the raw material purchases from last year, my guess is half of that has been used already and so, I find it encouraging that significant imports are already occurring this year. Hopefully you are wrong, and there is NOT enough (yet) in the warehouse.

$10M should just about do it for breakeven, assuming an annual admin expense of $4M and GM between 35-40%.

More importantly, we must be due a MAJOR product release announcement - haven’t had one for ages.

My guess would be 29T per container. I hope they have 500T of raw material requirements in their crosshairs for 2025.

Hi AJP, let’s hope 10T/week is the low side of where we need to be, given the profitable growth we are all hoping for. I remember the CEO saying in the past that when the factory is running at full tilt, that would be ca $15M in sales -let’s hope that is not far off, given all the hiring they’ve been doing.

A significant clue was given by yourself a few days back: “ Energy efficiency 381.377 Kwh to produce 1.6m lbs reduce year on year”

To me that sounds like 730T of end product in 2023. Looking forward to hitting (profitably!) 1000T and way beyond.

If they are not sourcing elsewhere AJP, they really need to be taking 1 container/month from China.

No idea Elsol on your interfacing question. I can hazard a guess though: in order to get our Polymers adopted, it means not only formulating out acrylate based polymers, but to make things even greener also formulating out other ingredients to be replace by the products made by our SPARX partners.

There are 3 potential advantages from this approach as I see it:

1) we address potential customer objections regarding replacement of other ingredients; ie we provide a more ENTIRE green recipe reformulation. Our application expertise is top notch.

2) we potentially are adding value and margin through additional ingredient integration, blending/formulation , and sale.

3) there can be a coherent strategic focus of new collaborative ingredients between Itaconix and their SPARX partners and how they sell into/develop their markets. In other words: increased market penetration momentum.

Just my musings. But they need to get the finger oot - it’s been a long wait!
