Ah what it probably is , is the nhs style anti tamper
strips or the kit that adds them to the package !?

I only say this because at the hospital I am at ,
I work ( part time now ) in the infection control/ decontamination
And we used to do our own cleaning/ sterilisation of surgical equipment etc
However back in the late 90/00s when
CJD was doing the rounds , it was an issue to hold
possible contaminated surgical instruments if it was
suspected that a patient was suffering from CJD
because the prion wasn’t destroyed in the usual
cleaning/ sterilisation process and if it was
proved to be positive the instruments were removed and destroyed ( this was far too much trouble for the powers that be and if left any longer would probably of mixed up clean / dirty ! ) so it ended up outsourced to a standalone cssd company who could run this seamlessly,
And initially to help out the nhs supply chain kitted them out with sealing machine/s and barcode
multi jet ( but that’s probably old hat now )
And then no doubt replaced with their own kit
So our gear found its way back to the right hospital
as we are 3 in the city
So I think it’s probably just that

As well as Airport Lfts the cruise line industry worth billions is crying out for this kind of test !
I have had two cruises with Royal Caribbean cancelled since the pandemic !!
Everyone on board testing daily is the way forward
especially with 5000 passengers etc
to stop the disastrous situation that unfolded last year in countless ports

All inclusive resort hotels ( remember them ? )
and coach holidays like those leger tours
( loved the ww1 battlefield tour I did a couple of years back )

Used LFT at home are thrown away along with general waste
However in large establishments schools/ uni / work place setting this can cause an issue

Now at the hospital I work at some of this kind of bio waste is outsourced to ISS
etc so I will keep an eye on some of the outsourcing shares for a little extra

We don’t want all these lfts ending up in the ocean ( otherwise we will have Mr Attenborough on our case )
