Anybody know if any of the current projects or projects in the pipeline are vrfb's? Couldn't find much information on the type of systems used. Thanks in advance
Put me down for 12p please.
I'm still here but don't have much to add to what is being said here. Feeling fairly positive and looking forward to seeing some big orders complete (hopefully). My concern in the past year has been the rising cost of vanadium and have we managed to get a good deal so that we can be competitive going forward.
Although thinking about it they would be hiding amongst solar panels most of the time.
This may seem a silly question, our vrfb's are kitted out in containers. Fine for industrial areas and areas where they are hidden away. When it comes to installing units into places where the client wants something more pleasing to the eye, say a new up market development, would we fit our kit internally into a custom built building on the clients side, or would we design something different ourselves. Surely we wouldnt just say it comes in a container and thats that? Good week for sure
Enjoying seeing my kod shares in blue for once, it's been a rough year but starting to come good. Thanks everyone for all your input and balanced views in that time, I am hoping the tide has well and truely turned. Lots of news soon i hope
Thanks for explaining that 13th monkey, hoping we hear news on other projects soon.
Looking better, been a bad year sp wise, hopefully more news to follow soon. With the increasing price of vanadium has scott said where we are getting hold of it and at what price? Would bmn be one of our suppliers at a decent discount to push vrfb profile? We need a good price that is for sure otherwise profits will get eaten. Feel happier this week though
I have gone from buying in at 264 all the way down to buying at 150 and am now sitting at 20% profit, trying hard not to think about selling any. I just have to remind myself that this was a long term buy, the fundamentals are the same, actually better with plt exceeding my expectations so far. With high street stores struggling and how youngsters are all about online shopping and social media crazy (boo all over that) I feel I would be mad to sell tomorrow even if we get a very good day. Hope everyone gets a good day though (not the shorters)
Hopefully bobf, i was so confident with this one but can't bring myself to buy anymore even at this low price. Need some positive news
Same here will not buy anymore, not a happy bunny. Unfortunately my average is over 10p and a large part of my portfolio. I just hope some massive news is around the corner for some major projects because if not I can see the sp sliding further. The technology seems good but I would imagine we need to shift several of these gen 3's to turn a decent profit and cover the growing overheads. Time to show us you are worth that large salary (if true).
I think i'll stick by mine, maybe i'm stupid, maybe i'm mad, both I think.
Good find Bolgas, guess we will just have to be patient and see what develops.
My personal opinion is that the sp will carry on declining until the company gives us a positive update and their plan to turn things around. Until then I can't really see how this can recover?
Been a good start to the week, we do appear to be on the right track.
Sounds promising
Thanks for the replies. Agreed sorry guys i'll post on bmn next time I have a queery. Hopefully redt can be competitive and prices become more viable.
Knuttie is there an indication on how much bmn energy storage side of the business will pay for their vanadium? Will it be at a big discount from the fantastic performing mining side,or will they want things totally seperated so if the demand for vanadium is still high as much profit can be made on the mining side? I invested in both redt and bmn last year but not really for the energy storage side of bmn more for the vanadium. Gutted how red sp is performing currently but will be here for the long road ahead... hopefully!
Just seen that it can be 40% of the cost of the battery.
