DB, so we will need about 6 overlapping LNG tanker deliveries per year for Ireland's new strategic gas reserve, primarily due to gas LNG boil off, without any emergency. In the case of any real emergency, we would need 1 new guaranteed & overlapping LNG tanker delivery per week to maintain current functions, for the duration of that "single" emergency, then multiple months, best case, to replace the 187 km, Moffat - Ireland sub sea pipeline, though not sure how long if only repair it or if that is even possible.

100% of LNG tankers will be US fracked gas origin, to bow the knee & keep our advantages.

If only we had some local shallow water, near coast & current infrastructure, licensed gas prospects, that could also be used as a lowest possible CO2 gas source & emergency reserve, if gov pays the premium & maybe onlyto be used when necessary. And only a 45 km West coast pipeline replacement in case of an attack.

Anyoneknow/remember the levels of Allied or other Irish oil & coal supply during WW2 !!!
