A fishing exercise for a slow Sunday, one of these guys might even have the odd FPSO knocking about :-)

A new analysis from Westwood Global Energy Group revealed that the number of FPSO leases set to expire in 2022 is significantly higher than the yearly average of around 3 since 2015, with the potential of 30 units becoming available by end of 2022.
Westwood’s Global Floating Production Systems report notes under a scenario where no contract extensions are taken on current leased FPSOs, 14 additional units would become available in 2022.

Its not just oil & gas that his wide-ranging incompetence tramples across !!! I wonder what his Green Deputy Leader & tourism minister has to say about stopping bought & paid for flights in high season!!! Nothing I expect. GLA, DAB

Shares of Norwegian Cruise Line plunged 12% Tuesday. While the company posted an earnings and revenue beat in the second quarter, its third-quarter guidance missed analyst estimates. Carnival’s shares also shed 5.7% in tandem. GLA, DAB

Still only 3.72% so far & up to 3P 1.12 MMstb hoped for. That helps explain somewhat the delayed CPR. GLA, DAB

Details of the Uisge Gorm FPSO
The Uisge Gorm FPSO began operations in 1995 at the Fife field for Amerada Hess. It is capable of operating in water depths of more than 1,500m. The vessel was modified to accommodate production from the Alma field.
The turret, control systems and accommodation facilities were upgraded. A new chemical injection skid, a first stage separator and new subsea control system equipment were installed on the FPSO.

Chessmeister - Redeploying an FPSO,whilst possible, is not as easy as it may appear.Unlike a drilling rig, FPSOs are bespoke assets designed for a specific regulatory regime and field requirements, including the weather conditions, water depth, oil & gas characteristics,as well as gas/water or chemical injection for reservoir management. Depending on the differences between the fields, redeployment can require modifications ranging from relatively minor refurbishment to extensive major modification, so its potentially a complex and challenging process for Navitas to navigate through.

Field developers assess viability of FPSO redeployment

Redeploying an FPSO, while possible, is not as easy as it may appear. Unlike a drilling rig, floating production systems are bespoke assets designed for a specific regulatory regime and field requirements, including the weather conditions, water depth, oil and gas characteristics, as well as gas, water, and/or chemical injection for reservoir management. Depending on the differences between the fields, redeployment can require modifications ranging from relatively minor refurbishment to extensive modification or replacement of the topsides and mooring.
Has this clown forgotten that Google search exists?
Thanks NickNorth & fellow satellite gazers, for keeping watch in the Guercif, much appreciated. The following link might help regarding the size of rigless testing equipment & previously mentioned "coiled tubing" testing.

Thanks AlmaCogan for a real world experience about sourcing FSPO's, unlike the unsourced, multiple copy pastes from various other industry sites, quoted earlier (D- if using ChatGBT). Better question, can you or anyone else here translate Uisge Glas, without using google :-) GLA, DAB
Reasonable question Biggleswerf, my understanding of the current Irish Government's position & the current law, is that all valid licences will be honoured (allegedly, but yet to be seen under Ryan) & no new licences will be issued. I can not imagine any timed out licence, being put back up for sale by Ryan, so Vermillion + CPPIB can not play the waiting game. And Vermillion + CPPIB have a relatively recent $4Billon undersea & on land gas infrastructure investment going to rust, if they don't do a deal with either EOG (by Dec/Jan) or PRD or both, plus maybe a Corrib deep drill.
All to play for !!!! GLA, DYOR, DAB
Good evening Alan Beresford - Sad Parsnip, so you are confirming here, that you actual strategy is to moan & groan the TUI share price higher !!! As for your alleged 75% loss, send us all the link to your "Sad Parsnip - go fund my 75% TUI losses page" & we will all stand you a beer or maybe a "creme de menthe" ? GLA, DONAL B
Gardener, sorry to rain further on the Inishkea parade, but Minister Ryan introduced new discretionary guidelines, that oil & gas drill companies, need to have net assets of 3 1/2 times the drilling cost. (This is the rule on which Barryroe(formerly Providence), was forced into liquidation/examinership recently (still up in the air)).
For one $50/70M drill, half of which might just be the cost of shipping the rig there & back, I suggest again a multi company, multi drill program, combining EOG's Inishkea prospects + a Corrib deep drill ($$$Vermillion+ $$$CPPIB) + PRD's Corrib South prospects. Sharing rig costs & drilling risks, we can all be very successful & Ryan cannot block it, without being subject to a huge ECT claim for introducing new arbitrary rules to block exploration (a la Rockhopper).
I posted more about the 3.5 times guidelines on PRD last month. GLA, DAB.
Sad Parsnip, you must not own shares here, or is it you investment strategy to moan & groan the share price higher.
Looking at your very regular post on other sites, you seem to be more than able to pump, when inclined !!!

Thanks as always Keith, just one point ! I am not sure if there is currently an LNG landing in Ireland, fracked or un-fracked. I believe all LNG is degasified in the UK & pumped over (Moffat). Though I grew up close to a large LPG site, owned by the major unidentified company :-) If Ryan did advance his own national LNG site or other, it would be only for guaranteed non-fracked LNG gas, a la, Algeria & Spain gas deliveries.
