My tuppence worth again. I think Adz has very well expanded us Sat Watchers understand of what is and is not visible on the different types of satellites & how their scanning info technologies work.

Also, I don't think anybody is saying there is no flaring on going, its just that, we can't see it, as the daylight shortens (1hr10min today) to zero daylight soon & lasting for about 2 months at Deadhorse.

The daytime satellites, notably Sentinel 2, Landsat 8 & Landsat 9 that I believe previously showed flaring on Short Wave Infra Red (SWIR) on 27,28,28 Oct & 6 Nov.

We were also struggling to see thru the cloud cover, as those 3 passive satellites can not easily see through cloud cover of about 30-40%.

Morning Adz_K, I did mention this to Stas20 before, but its my belief that the "Active Sensors" from "Sentinal 1" over Dubhe-1, are only detecting the heat/surface/metal signatures ? of the drill rig & the equipment on the pad, and not our flaring. This has been very bright since the drill rig arrived mid July ? there, further accentuated since late Sept/early Oct by the contrasting ground snow. You can look back at all of these images for free on the Copernicus site too.

Regarding the paid for EOS passes, no new passes visible/available since 12th Nov, no use due to cloud, but the 6th showing flaring on lower left corner & possible flaring stack to the center - east off the pad on SWIR Landsat 9.

Maybe like Copernicus, there will be no more useful daytime scans till springtime ???

Saw that too tmhsdx6, all today's 5 large buys were followed by an equal sell amount, within about a minute, but the spread appears too large to be some kind of Bed & ISA. Possible early year end tax planning & loss taking ???

Just trawled through the Irish Academy of Engineering's recent energy report. Quite sloppy & hard to follow, several big errors, little mention of large scale battery storage to mitigate future wind farms curtailment & low output's and worst of all not a single mention of the Barryroe Oil & Gas discovery, Corrib deep potential, Corrib South potential & Inishkea West potential or any other license holders, yet banging on about security of supply. Reminds me of the three monkeys, hearing, seeing & saying nothing. Cant believe I used to pay their predecessor, the annual subscriptions :-)

Evening Olderwiser, I am very grateful for all your kindly shared technical insights & explications, regarding PANR & its potential, so to slightly balance that equation, though a recent arrival & so far a small stake investor, I have signed up for a 15 months, EOS satellite package (Black Friday 12 mo + 3 mo Free).

My first limited observations (ongoing heavy clouding), are a heat signal from 06/11 on SWIR from the lower eastern side of the pad heading easterly, then southerly, which may well be the flaring stack, still visible on 26 & 28 Oct Sentinel 8 sat passes.

Why have none of our big time posting investors, paid the 40-50$ monthly fee, to see the latest EOS satellite images & are willing to post the info on here ???

Seems very strange, that so many are focused on a possible 2 o'clock light, from the second red airport runway lamp, as opposed to the 100+ team, coming & going from the pad daily or even any random passersby, seeing the evident flaring ???

Both posted by Richelm, first most usefull. Noticed just now the Coiled Tubing Unit, next to the rig, but cant see any flaring stack ??? Though I am sure I saw flaring on the Sentinal-8 EOS website.

Some 40 pick-up trucks on site & about 20 large tractor trailers, the oil & waste water is possibly separated in the 10 long containers with the 11 tractor trailers between them & the Nabors 105E rig. I am guessing this is the temporary separation set-up & surely all the recovered waters & oil will need to be taken back to Deadhorse for proper processing.
