With all the excitement over Leap let’s not forget the rest of the FFWD portfolio. Juvenescence for instance will IPO on the NYSE Q1. I’m confident it will be a unicorn before IPO.

Note a unicorn is an unlisted company with a value in excess of $1 billion.

Bank of America has forecasted that the market will balloon to $610 billion by 2025.

Juvenescence have raised over $165M to build an ecosystem and pipeline of assets targeting ageing, age-related disease and regeneration. Juvenescence believes that recent scientific and medical advances will enable the development of therapeutics that meaningfully extend human healthspan and lifespan.

Juvenescence's portfolio currently includes Insilico Medicine, a next-generation artificial intelligence company specializing in the application of deep learning to drug discovery and ageing research. Juvenescence AI, a joint venture with Insilico Medicine focused on the clinical development of AI-generated compounds; NetraPharma, a joint venture using artificial intelligence to improve clinical trial design; LyGenesis, a company with technology to use a patient's own lymph nodes as bioreactors to grow functioning ectopic organs; and AgeX Therapeutics, a company applying intellectual property related to cell immortality and pluripotency In addition to the above assets, Juvenescence has signed several deals with the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.

Juvenescence is also in advanced negotiations with several other undisclosed research institutions.

Just need to do some reading on what IMG are developing, what markets they are targeting. Who Endeavor are in partnership with in other geographic areas, what licenses IMG hold, Leap being built as a blank canvas so ANY skin can be added to any game. Soon realise what Leap is going to be worth. 44% within a £9 m MCAP portfolio.

So what’s Leap worth?

The initial bid they received was for $4.9 million back in 2017.

What’s happened since then to increase the value?
1. The US Supreme Court ruling
2. They got a strategic partnership with IMG who also bought 25% of the business.
3. FFWD invested a further $1 million at the same time as IMG
4. FFWD invested a further $747k buying out a junior investor.
5. IMG creates IMG Arena and fully integrate Leap within
6. IMG announce yesterday a multi year deal with Mansion purely on the back of the Leap technology

So we have initial bid $4.9 million plus a further $1.747 million invested plus all the above progress to factor in to arrive at a fair price that both parties will agree to.

The BOD are very sweet on Leap. It’s clear from the RNS that Leap is valued at more than current MCAP

If the ipo price doesn’t reach a certain level then they could always postpone. They did earlier in the year.

They would obviously benefit from this scenario especially the largest holder sitting on a 17.6p average

Agree Matador I think by now the BOD know what we currently think of them and they should feel obliged to dividend the Leap return to LTH

There’s every chance that Silver Lake will be the buyer rather than Endeavor.

It matters not what the IPO price is. Endeavor are only giving away 7.9% of the business for their IPO. In return they receive $600-700 million which as anyone who has read the IPO official documents will know is going to be used for M&A.

So what’s Leap worth?
