Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
If it's "greed" to want to turn a profit to secure my kids future and provide for my family, then guilty as charged m'lord. If it's "greed" to want to make enough money to buy assisted housing for my autistic daughter to live a semi-independent life, then guilty as charged.
But, it's not greed, is it.
@aquakidd - that is such a depressing post, and completely wrong on so many fronts.
Here we go again..
*sigh*
@zoros
Without a doubt, the best post I've read on this board for many a month. Absolutely nailed it.
...but there's more people commenting on disruptive threads than commenting on further excellent results.
Give me strength.
(I include the 26p thread as disruptive as well).
MFU - L2 was showing in excess of 8m on the order book @ 15.9
Hence the UT @ 15.9
After hours should be interesting.
15.9 close
BIG action on L2
and they don't fall down SaS ; )
Glad to see the return of one of the good guys Schlem, hopefully the first of many...
@Tymers
For me, ARV are a bit too early in their journey for NCM to consider getting involved. Better to leave them be and prove things up, as they did with us and HAV.
Dodge.
Cheers @Up2NoGood - keep a watching brief nowadays whilst the board has descended into a playground around us.
But faith in GGP is undiminished and I'm still here for the long haul mate.
Why not GGP, we are approx 10 x the mcap of ARV and effectively the exploration arm of NCM anyway.
Like I said, think bigger, SD sure does.
@ProfQuatermass - for me it's as good a fit as NCM is to GGP.
I've not researched the cash position of ARV, but we know very well how expensive deep drilling is. We have the technology, knowledge and commitment to go deep, in the same province.
I just don't see any other reason for SD changing tack so soon after publicly stating we have cash in hand for current planned drill programmes.
I might be completely wrong, but I trust SD's business acumen, whether it be through JV or acquisition, both of which he has previous success with, to say the least.
We, as shareholders, need to think bigger, because we're very different players in the market now.
Dodge.
For me @Doublehun, we simply have to trust our elected officers.
According to some on here, SD seems to have become a pansy for the City boys, is shafting loyal PI's and is leaking information to the "shorters". Complete and utter nonsense and in breach of his fiduciary responsibilities to the company and its shareholders, if proven.
I'm very comfortable with the raise, and I expect to be very comfortable with whatever use SD has planned.
Dodge.
My take for what its worth.
SD is a finance man and his stated aim is to turn GGP into a multi-asset multi-billion pound company. He can only go so far by monetising our current portfolio, which will ultimately hamstring his ambition. He surprised us all with the purchase of our new Paterson tenement and in my opinion, he's about to go shopping.
Artemis are prime for me. Small mcap, highly prospective targets and our very near neighbours. How far does HAV extend?SWAG? Maybe Artemis don't have the technical expertise to go deep, the funds to go deep, or the balls to go deep?
JV with the acknowledged leaders in exploration in the province anyone?
He needs the cash for a very specific reason for me. An opportunity has maybe presented itself SINCE his full funded statement, which would explain the change in direction.
Be prepared to be surprised folks.

As H&P were appointed back in July 2020, well before SD started his tenure, it wouldn't surprise me if he's working towards replacing these jokers with an institution more suited to our current direction of travel.
SaS - Norwich will have more points than our swamp dwelling noisy neighbours from Stretford by then ; )
Great post Tig and food for thought for those newer posters who might be swayed negatively by the vociferous doom-mongers that currently infest this board. With so many of my co-LTH's deciding (wrongly in my view) to take their musings to Telegram, we need more voices of reason to counter the lies and deception on this LSE board.
I would add...
10. Fully funded, with our JV partners funding aggressive drilling campaigns not only at Havieron, but Juri as well. Incredibly low cash-burn considering we currently have no monetised assets and are drilling holes in the Paterson on 3 fronts.
SD's at the wheel - roll on Wednesday.

The ramblings of a few anonymous posters tonight are tomorrow's chip paper.
I'll console myself that a plethora of mining analysts will be going through figures that confirm approval to FS and all but confirm we're going to mine.
Take it to the bank Mr Day. With this major milestone reached you have all you need to take little old GGP to the next level.
