@Khrysos
"I also firmly believe that the unique PI power on the GGP register cannot be underestimated."
Nonesense, who do you guys think you are, John D. Rockefeller ?
Certainly not. But billions of shares held by PI's is significantly different to most £750m mcap companies me thinks. Like I said, not to be underestimated, as you are patently doing.
I'm all for regular Joe making a stand, or is that not allowed in today's society?
Yes, I understand the context of your musings JS, so to lay my cards on the table...
I would not consider anything below Tymers 88p, but Mickeys £1.44 would possibly get my attention ; )
I also firmly believe that the unique PI power on the GGP register cannot be underestimated.
Might be your most important JS, but it certainly is your longest!
A lowball takeover, for me, is the only discernable risk to our collective future wealth. However, I'm with WF on this, the complications are vast and the implications for the industry as a whole would be extremely damaging.
If we had found Havieron, in a joint venture with a mid-cap miner in the USA, we'd be cannon-fodder for corporate America. However, the Aussies tend to play with a straight bat and I don't think the scenario you paint would sit well with their collective national mission statement.
The mining industry is simply too important to the Australian GDP for it to be risked by sharp practise and corporate shenanigans.
But, stranger things have happened my friend.
Great post Hydro.
Also, great to see the board full of the positivity we were seeing this time last year. It might be a reflection of the human condition that good times bring good vibes, but I sincerely hope that the back-stabbing and general malaise of the last few months is behind us.
Many, many LTH's have stopped posting but the last two sessions, with 500+ posts a day, have proved to me that the interest in our beautiful little company is still there.
Here's hoping that the course is now set for calmer waters and the good ship GGP is now full steam ahead to the promised land.
I'm personally convinced we will see our ATH surpassed by Xmas. Simply because I refuse to react to the BS and frothing naysayers, just breathe and refer to the fundamentals. Fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals. And guess what dear reader? Every single one of those pesky fundamentals point in one direction.....a multi-asset, multi-million pound company, with a fiercely loyal backbone of multi-millionaire shareholders.
As the somewhat mystical mushroomkid used to say....we know our onions.

It's a bit of a myth this "we always drop after an RNS".
Of the 39 material announcements (excluding price monitoring etc) made since 01/01/2021 until 16/09/2021, we have closed down on 19 occasions, up on 17 occasions and remained unchanged on 3 occasions.
Granted, within those dates there are bigger falls than rises, but its pretty much a 50/50 chance. The only conclusion to be drawn is that it's a dangerous game to trade on "expected falls".
@Ruprah - "We also have systematic selling continuing of £40K and also 100000 shares"
I think the systematic buying of 100k/200k tranches is more relevant. Anything circa 17.85-17.88 that have been printed the last hour are buys, despite the carefully managed mid-price depicting them as sells. Don't be fooled by the red ink my friend.
This has the newly formed Technical Advisory Committee written all over it.
Callum being freed up from the daily grind, to do what he knows best, was a master stroke.
Go find us the next Tier 1 Callum, there's a good lad.

We've only gone and blown the bloody doors off..
Best wishes to you and yours VS.
Up the Shrimpers!
All the very best to you and yours Bellers.
@saint-tropez.
With respect, the fact that you held PAT from 4p is completely irrelevant when you were advocating buying them at 31p on this board. Your 10 bagger is somebody elses 60% loss my friend.
@saint-tropez - For every OMI there's a PAT.
I well remember the investment case you made for PAT @ 31p which can now be picked up for the princely sum of 13.75p
Just to balance the cross-ramping.
Just thought, for balance, I'd bump this very positive thread from last week. Just to show our weekenders how far we've come.
The selfless posts of the likes of Bamps, Paddy, Hydro et al, have made the ride a most pleasurable one for us old timers.
Long may it continue.

Nice to hear from you mushroomkid, seems such a long time ago when this board was filled with optimism and respect for each others musings. I well remember the GGP football team thread and various light-hearted others. Since those days, it seems to have descended into back stabbing and insults, no doubt caused by many disruptive influences and the SP downturn. I maybe wrong, but I don't feel the Telegram group has helped, as it appears, from the outside, to be a bit grandiose and encourages cliques. Just my opinion.
Anyway, I'm fully expecting normality to return, along with some valued posters. Posters who are still holding a watching brief, whilst waiting for the lunatics to return to the asylum.
As you say my friend, onwards and upwards (or as Stuart might say, ducks ducks ducks).

@Gsuk1 - I wish I could say I was drawn to GGP by a savvy knowledge of all things gold, but I wasn't. I had watched a fortune evaporate down a murky over-hyped sidetrack in the Weald "oil fields" (LOL) and was at last chance saloon with a pretty worthless SIPP and rapidly emptying ISA. GGP was mentioned on another board, seemed like a good time to invest, so I took a punt, it really is as simple as that. Helped, I must say, by some exemplary posters on this message board, I now hold a few million shares in GGP and have no other investments in any other listed companies.
Lucky? Maybe. But, IMO, if anyone has the balls to "seize the moment" then they deserve a bit of luck.
@hydro - it was very much tongue in cheek my friend.
England were embarking on their World Cup campaign, the construction industry was still reeling from the collapse of Carillion, those pesky Russians were poisoning the fair people of Salisbury and Theresa May was trying to piece together her doomed Brexit plan.
Meanwhile, the Chinese were happily chomping away on Bat fritters in the Wuhan wet market.
In GGPland..
*HAD001 was announced with the SP @ 1.135p, ending at the dizzy heights of 1.445p at the bell
*POG hit $1250....and rising...according to our POG watchers
*A "nice buy" of 1.9m was commented upon (1.9m shares would cost you the princely sum of £20k in those days)
*RTC was selling
*Spymaster was buying...."less than 2p is a steal" he screamed (how right he was)
*RIO had found a continent size Copper deposit at WINU
*We were wading through dozens of gold-laden rock chips at Saddle Reef
*Applegarth declared that we would be at 3p by Xmas, to the general merriment of a disbelieving message board
*Beetroot was balls deep, but selling at 10p
*PRIM were loading up in 2m tranches (at circa £20k a hit)
*Apple discovered he had a thoroughly unpleasant alter-ego on a rival board
*Lenigas had a twitter pole "which is the best deposit in the Paterson, WINU or HAV?" - HAV won with 63%
*HAT was being.....well....just HAT
*RTC was still selling
*Forecasts of a £250m mcap were scoffed at by investors of other AIM-listed juniors
Then came HAD002-005 and then the game-changer, the mighty, much fabled, the one and only........HAD006. Those who had seen the stars align and had the foresight to invest on HAD001 assays were rewarded all the way up to 38p and 2m shares would cost you a cool £750k. SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND POUNDS for shares that would've cost you £19k less than a couple of years ago.
Granted there have been subsequent ups and downs. 38p came and went. £1b mcap came, then went. GH went, SD came. Beetroot went. Mercedesman came, went, came, went.....whichever way his trading sent him. Paddy came, sat, sat some more, and still sits. Hydro's money man sort of came, then sort of went, but will no doubt come again. Mushroomkid went...to Portugal. TMT came, went, came back but has now sadly gone. Applegarth came, went, came, fulfilled his 3p prophesy, then subsequently went forever. Trolls came, went, came under a different guise, then went, only to come back again to a soapbox near you. CB has sort of gone, but hasn't really, so has come again. JoeBass came, went, but seems to have never been away, much like SWAG.
Anyway, excuse my ramblings. What I'm trying to say to any "newer investor" or "faltering new investor" hovering over the buy button....is simple....seize the moment. I firmly believe that this base, some 18 times higher than pre-HAV, will be as distant as 1p now is to the people who seized the moment in 2018.
Good luck and best wishes to all - Dodge.
All the very best to you and yours TmT.
One of the good guys.

Abandoning my "watching brief" in the light of the GGP tweet this morning.
I don't think the significance of the "Havieron Mine" can be overstated, truly momentous in my opinion. As close to a blockbuster RNS as we'll get, without it actually being one.
25p by NCM quarterly on Weds.
PS: No Mancunian worth his salt would ever set foot in the crumbling Hilton (aka Beetroot Tower)....and certainly not to gaze in the direction of the Meccano stadium, when you could cast your eye to the East and simply marvel at the glistening Etihad Campus, the theatre of trophies ; )
