Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
@Golden1 - thanks for additional input, much appreciated. I'm now looking at the Wombat to take us lower. A voracious Australian burrower, in fact the biggest burrower on the planet.
I'll dig a bit deeper.
@Tymers, fair point re: hibernation, I look forward to your report after you've spoken to your US badger contacts.
Just doing my bit guys, no need to thank me.
Now, moving this forward. We hire several indigenous people to look after the Bilbys and set up a cuddling zoo. Instigate a breeding programme and maybe cross-breed with other burrowers with bigger hands to increase the yield.
This one's got legs people.
Hi Bamps, great research but I have to say, I think we're missing a trick here.
Surely, we can utilise the Bilbys burrowing skills and use them to start the decline. Very low cost, sustainable, 24 hour shifts, they can work throughout the hot season and not susceptible to Covid. Once the man made machinery has achieved block cave status, we send them down again. Suddenly, even the low grade areas become viable.
This highly skilled workforce can then be utilised at SWAG.
EBITDA through the roof.
You see, its OK to have our resident Geo's, nuclear physicists, accountants and NASA analysts. Sometimes, true genius is seeing the small detail.
I'm expecting a spike on Monday once the market understands the importance of the Bilbys.
I'll do some further selfless research on this and provide more detail next week.
@turkishdreams - such an uplifting story, a true turkish delight.
All the very best to you and yours.
@mush - either way I reckon there's some fireworks yet to come before Santa empties his sack.
Fair play mate, thought as much.
"also you still think Havieron doesn't have the grades to make it to a mine"
Ooh err @Spy, is that true? Cant recall you saying that. Honest question.
@TMT - I'm mortified by your crass attempt to undermine my position as the most popular person on my personal planet.
Take it back now....or I will stamp my feet and cause a massive scene.
PS Hope you're OK mate.
I think most of us know Jack Sheet @racingcyclist.
Thats half the fun mate.
@Sojourner
SIR Dodge. SIR.
How disrespectful.
Do you not know who I am.
Really?
(ok the sexy thing went a bit too far)
OK guys, as I'm now officially No:6 in the list of the most popular people on the planet, I just want to lay out a few ground rules.
1) Do not engage with me directly, only through my agent.
2) Address me only as Sir Dodge.
3) Never directly look at me.
4) if you don't uptick any of my future posts you will be reported and banned.
5) I am always right, never wrong, so do everything I advise you to do.
6) I will now cease to carry cash, so if you see me in the Stag, buy me a pint.
7) Netflix have approached my agent about commissioning a biopic about my life. Uptick this post if you want to be part of it.
8) As above for the book deal.
9) I will not do public appearances unless previously approved by my PR company.
10) My lawyers are watching.
Other than the above, this won't change me. I'll still be the same sexy raconteur, adored and loved by my fellow GGP shareholders.
Thank you, my people.

...nods and winks between JBER & GH....."need to shift 70-odd million shares, any ideas?"
"well Gervaise, this GDXJ mob need a few, we can do 'em off-book @ 34p, any good?"
Crack on you conspiracy theorist weekenders ; )
The volume hasn't been anywhere near the levels of our inclusion in September.
570m were traded between 11/09 and 18/09, this week considerably less than half of that.
Great to hear WF, congratulations!
Well said Stuart.
You'd be quackers to sell today, so keep hold of your golden eggs ; )
Great recognition for Callum & Greatland.
Such a shame that there are more people commenting on the ramblings of a winter vegetable called Dave, than on this further industry recognition for GGP.
I despair sometimes.
@firstmodern - if you're referring to Paddy's post at 11:59, in my opinion he's very open and honest about his reasons for investing in ECR and the lack of real research.
Its all there.
Trading seems to be noticeably different to our inclusion in September. Very different pattern, so I'm hopeful that any drop off on Monday 21/12 will be minimal.
September Trading:
11/09 (inclusion announcement day) @ 19.9p
14/09 @ 21.6p (+9%)
15/09 @ 23.3p (+8%)
16/11 @ 25p (+7%)
17/11 @ 24p (-4%)
18/11 (buy in day) @ 27p (+13%)
21/11 @ 24.2p (-11%)
So, a 21% gain from the Friday before GDXJ day to the Monday after GDXJ day.
December Trading:
11/12 (re-balance announcement day) @ 31p
14/12 @ 32.625p (+6%)
15/12 @ 32.7p (+0.5%)
16/12 @ 32.75p (+0.15%)
17/12 @ ?????
18/12 @ ?????
21/12 @ ?????
Steady as she goes so far this week, anyones guess tomorrow/Friday, but if we maintain the same uplift as last time (21% over the 7-day window), then we settle @ 37.5p, even allowing for a similar 11% drop next Monday. If we only get a 5% drop off, then we're talking circa 40p. To achieve that, we need back to back +7% for the next 2 days.
Very achievable IMHO.
Cheers RC.
Another good analogy for our intrepid explorer..
He could climb Ben Nevis in a pair of comfy slippers...could climb Mont Blanc in a sturdy hob-nailed boot....but he took one look at K2 and thought "**** this..I'm off".
