On the change of the nominal value at the AGM, well we’ve just had our AGM, so a long way. Presumably an EGM will suffice, which will be held in Mongolia and waved through on a show of hands. Certainly don’t think PI’s have any power here.

Stas, I said many months ago that I’d imagine they’ll do a consolidation. To which I was shot down for even suggesting it!

What I am slightly confused about it why they’ve “only” raised £3m or whatever it’ll end up being after the retail offering. It’s a nothing amount, still unable to develop anything, and it realistically means they now can’t raise until after the next AGM, and if the SP rises.

Either they really are battening down the hatches, hoping to muddle on by with 160 bopd and some more salary and pension contributions, or reckon a JV is close. Or they’ve just given up!

There are ways around this, including a share consolidation to bump the nominal value up. But that requires a resolution passing.

As for the board, there is no board! It’s Mike, Gerry and some guy called Tim who seems to happily sign everything off!

I would guess that this is the last raise MATD will do. I don’t think they’d get another one away. For starters, they’ll have to do something major as 0.8p was as low as they are currently legally allowed to go to.

And I think it’s probably the end for MB. He certainly won’t be able to come back again with the begging bowl. But then he’s pushing 70 and must be retiring very soon.

This has been a combination of corruption, poor management, ridiculous bureaucracy in MG, and PC playing bully boy. It dawned on me some time ago that this was a dead duck.

I’m very hopeful here, and what was a decent holding has turned into something quite significant (for me, at least!) with the SP rise. But I’ve been in a few stocks over the years where it seemed nailed on, a dead cert, 99.99% a sure thing. But then something happens. So while excited for the MRE results, I’ll also be relieved if there are no negative curveballs thrown.

Adw, no point trying to educate these no hopers. If they’d have listened to reason, they could have saved themselves a lot of money.

Maybe the manipulation was actually it getting to £90m on no production and poor prospects?
