RE: What is really happening here?22 Jul 2025 14:18
"Let’s not forget, MB had the opportunity to raise $12 million at 2.4p but chose not to"
Did he? It hit 2.4p for about 2.4 seconds. Raises are always done at hefty discounts, at least in MATD's case. Although I reckon he had ample chance to raise when the SP was around 1.6p, and it probably would've meant 1-1.2p for a placing.
A more relevant question is why to "only" raise what they did? They now can't raise for another year. Do they think that's enough for all their plans (whatever they are!), or did they think that's all they'd be able to raise, because they happily raised more than they said they were going for.
Or is it really the case something is in the works and they just needed some wiggle room just in case, and to put themselves in a better negotiating position?
As ever, it will be fascinating to see what MB does or does not come up with. He usually never lets you down (by letting you down).
