Aquisace, how often do we see these kind of companies delist/disappear with the main shareholder taking control for a song. Nothing would surprise me anymore with MATD.

In fact, look at the detail in the why they’re raising part of the RNS, it’s pitiful and lacking any detail.

Debt free ONLY because the company has an annual raise from investors! And supportive Petrovis? They put in $1m last time. Only $300k this time. Why?

Two possibilities:

1. MB only felt it necessary to raise $2.75m, so in percentage terms it’s similar to their last contribution relative to the overall raise.

2. They were only willing to put in $300k.

Number 2 would possibly explain why they’re only raising such a small amount. Because realistically they now can’t raise for another year. So did they feel $2.75m was all they could get away with? Surely if you’re going to raise, make sure it’s plenty enough to get you through the next 12 months, or put yourself on the best position financially when negotiating with the likes of PC?

Lots for MB to answer for, but honestly I don’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth. Ultimately, this is a working capital raise.

It’s at a 30% discount to today’s price. It this would have been in the works for a fortnight at least. So probably more like the usual 40-45% at the original time of planning.

And coincidentally, WOS disappeared the exact number of days before the last raise 😉

The raise has been done at effectively as low a price as was possible. It couldn't be any lower than our nominal value of $0.01. It's possible the regulators insist on an average FX rate over a period of time. £/$ at 1.25, guess what, 0.8p!

My condolences to all LTHs. While I have been fighting back against the disgusting individuals like TBT, Proquo etc, I am disappointed on your behalf to be proven so right.

There's possibly some money to be made here short term, but long term this is a dead duck.

Maybe a raise after hours today. Raises are always announced Thursday and completed Friday so to get into the weekend as unscathed as possible. I'd say it's their last chance, otherwise the game is up. I can only then see Petrovis coming to the rescue to tide them over while some punitive JV is sorted, but at huge cost to PI's.
