I don't think that is true at all. Businesses would grind to a halt all over the world if they had to RNS every mid to high level position and were unable to sign NDAs with potential partners or suitors. Do you have anything I can read to validate your assumption?

It's been a while since I read up on the Takeover Code. But surely a BP who currently owns zero shares in SNG could just come in and offer £x price for the whole lot? TFG like any other holder can accept or decline the offer?

The 6 locations are perhaps places J&J are based? Certainly have a big presence in Houston. Miami flashes up with a lot of Janssen jobs when searching "J&J locations in Miami".

Ghia - we all know that the 21st Feb is the one year anniversary where an existing shareholder can then bid their highest price paid during the previous 12 months. So that would effectively be Polygon at say 30p. Would they get the company for 30p, though? I doubt it, but even if you think they would, surely you’d hold your shares to get the 30p rather than 13p? Of course, anyone else like BP could have already come in well before now and offered c.30p? So I struggle to see the significance of the one year anniversary. I’ve obviously misunderstood as you are a bright guy, but can you enlighten me?

Also, I’m assuming you don’t think there’s a chance we’ll get on something like strive? There’s clearly delays there. And the job advert isn’t exciting you either?

And just because the company haven't said much doesn't mean that things aren't ongoing in the background that we don't know about. But hey, you could end up being right. We don't know yet.

As for your comment about the Velociraptor drills and expecting Heron would essentially pay for it , he made it quite clear when specifically asked about cash raises that we had "bucks in the bank" for Velociraptor 1 and a start on 2. If something fundamental has changed in 8 weeks, he should let shareholders know. If you listen to his Q&A on 6th December, you will hear that he is quite clearly suggesting no raise would be needed for the foreseeable future, i.e. more than 8 weeks.

Finally, as for taking the mining minster at his word that LP will be granted and it being a done deal (despite missing his own 1-3 month time frame!), you are clearly more of a trusting person than I am!
