I'm 95% sure this rise (let's be honest, a penny or two is insignificant for LTHs on not really a rise at all!) has nothing concrete behind it and we'll continue to hover around this level or maybe drop back again for some months yet.

But you also can never completely rule something out. STRIVE and PTs were not ruled out by Simon Shaw. He just said that they'd not heard anything from them and decided, correctly IMO, to crack on with their own plans. But he was clear that if, for example, STRIVE became an option, then they would hand over the required amounts of drug and let them crack on with it. I mean why wouldn't you?

So for me it's a very outside chance, but it still is possible. And maybe the fact these PTs and STRIVE are so glacially slow has made us complacent and written it off when we shouldn't have. I maintain that we were on of the few candidates passed through ACTIV-2 P2, the NIH have already spent a lot of money on us and what we offer is potentially something quite different. I think they'd be mad not to give us another shot. But that's just IMO.

That to me certainly reads like he is saying they will refuse to cooperate and will go to court over it. I suppose they can just throw them in prison, like WOS always claims will now happen. But not exactly great news that the locals are seemingly still unwilling to play ball.

I asked my now parents-in-law for permission to marry their daughter. They duly gave their permission and the rest was a “formality”. Still took 3 bloody years, some to organise it and then an unexpected additional delay because of Covid.

Maybe, BP. And remember that the last raise happened at a substantial discount to what the SP was at the time... 5.3p (?) with the raise done at 2.5p. When questioned at the AGM why this was, MB said that the brokers effectively looked at what average the SP had been the previous 12 months, not just some recent spike, when determining what the raise price should be.

There's every reason to suspect a raise done when the SP hits 7p would still mean shares offered at around 4p, i.e. roughly where we are now!

Re the question posed by Curious - we've been told plenty of times that the MG have changed all the processes/laws and a lot of this is new ground for them, hence the delays already. It's therefore surely not beyond the realms of possibility that even the "formalities" might take a little while.

As for the comments earlier that MB is hopefully busy sorting out DQE and all else, well we've been told in just about every RNS and presentation the past 2 years that most of that is already done. So I'm hopeful that once these formalities are doing, be it "next week, month or year", that we'll be good to go almost immediately.

Manx - I'm all good and healthy, mentally and physically.

My point is that many on here continue to say "this week or next week" when they clearly have no idea. And then when their own made up timeline fails to materialise, they say "what's another few weeks! Could be next week, next month, next year... but it's coming!"

The proof is in the pudding. Or the SP of 4.2p, which indicates to me we are not there yet.
