Sol, I'm ignoring the SP for now and focussing on the fundamentals. As I'm looking to top up a bit more here, I'm mildly happy the SP is drifting!

Higher rates are not an issue provided their net interest margins are maintained. Indeed, many banks have used rising rates to increase their margins. Of course, were rates to go very high, then that could be concerning for defaults. But ultimately, rates sat between 4-6% is entirely normal.

It really is looking like WOS is (thankfully) gone. I suppose he could return if the SP starts to motor back north.

For now, we are best to assume 2023 is over for MATD and look forward to 2024, where hopefully we get Heron resolved and no raises.
