Just bumping this and wondering if anyone can bring me up to speed with the JV talk… is some news imminent, have the company said they are looking to JV, is it just something we’re hoping will happen etc etc?

Hi all, I'm potentially looking to take a position in COPL and have been reading up on events this year... quite the time! My question is, what would be the catalyst for this to move back to say circa 4p? Achieving 2k bopd or the like, or are there other things on the horizon to keep an eye out for (I did read about JVs)?

Agree to that and I tell you what, if it does and we do have a big rerate, even to say 8p, I’ll do the same and never return to the MATD board again?

I think if we finally get the go ahead we could see a rise as much as 50-100% in the immediate days after. But a shame it’s going to be from 3p and not 7p, and when the market in general is on its knees. Never say never but if it did go 10p+, I doubt I’d be hanging around for too long after. Or I’d at least cash in half my chips.

Landicaamans actually used to post some really good information here using his knowledge/experience of working in this sector... one of only a few along with the likes of Dozzawba and D1nger. Sadly, after venting his frustration at the slow progress here, WOS took offence and decided to stalk him over on another board and I think he's just had enough.

If my memory serves me correctly, I’ve only ever asked for WOS’s posts on other boards to be removed where he went over to them for the sole reason to disrupt because I was there. And iamrich’s foul-mouthed message to me many months ago, which just had no place on any bulletin board.

Dozzawba - I posted yesterday that BP was wrong (I referenced the Sunday a week of two ago) where no one had posted all weekend, and then he posted something incendiary. There was no need.
