I appreciate I might be accused of point 2 here, but "Literally nothing has changed". As far as we know. I'm always wary with MATD and Mongolia, as we have seen in the past what looks like insider dealing.

Worth noting, Miton UK Microcap (which holds a bit of MATD) is down over 50% over the last few years. It's been a desperately bad place to invest in recent years.

Thornogson, you’re quite right. Let me rephrase that… MB has to hope both the above issues are sorted before releasing the next ops update!

Thornogson, Heron will absolutely be tapped and will provide for the refinery. The question is whether or not MATD will be the ones to administer and benefit from it. I think so. But as the saying goes “show me the money”.

The only FUD here is being created by lack of news on the construction permit, PC deal and ensuing SP.

The next RNS will presumably be the interim/half yearly report with the usual operational update. MB has to make sure both the above issues are sorted. Heron 1 will be good to go and it is incomprehensible to think that all that cash will have been spent and it ready to spurt oil, but can’t because of yet another permit.

But yes, an exploration licence should automatically come with an exploitation and construction licence, otherwise what’s the point in finding the stuff?!

There is lots going on which is positive. But it’s contingent on us getting a construction permit (historically, permits in Mongolia take millennia) and a deal with Petro China, negotiations that have been going on for literally years and where we were told a broad agreement was already in place. So why the delays?

Bob - my understanding is that they will need 90% of the shareholder base to agree to a delisting. I recall Parsley Box wanting to forcibly delist. The CEO and his family actively bought shares post announcement in order to force it through.

I suppose someone would need to coordinate PI's and pool the number of shares to ensure it was fairly logged come voting time. Of course, in such scenarios, the BOD always spin it that the company will go bust unless they do delist. But I'm in quite a cantankerous mood with the BOD and so would (maybe irrationally) probably rather see it go completely belly up than them continue to earn exorbitant salaries in a private company where we have even less rights.

So 5.3m shares they reckon. Bought in at around 2.8p by looks of it, so about £150k worth and sold out for probably a 15% loss, Not bad work. Except that I don't believe any of it. Likely the same loner that is behind the Jakass and other multiple new accounts that appeared in July!

And yet no construction permit. So how are we building already? Or does this relate the construction excluding the main rig?

To MB or any MATD employee, if you are reading this board, for the love of the SP do not release another pointless RNS or until the construction permit and deal with PC is concluded.

If we get another RNS telling us these two matters are still unresolved, the SP will fall further. Which surely you don’t want. Or do you?

The SP is drifting lower and lower because there remains uncertainty. Uncertainly on the construction permit and the PC negotiations (that I raised concern about months ago but are still ongoing!). In a normal, democratic and less corrupt country than Mongolia, I’d accept that things look like they’re a done deal. But we’re not. And as said before, this SP will only rise once the market can see oil flowing and money in MATD’s bank account. Or, we have a big find at Gobi and the traders get this spiking.

You’ve got to remember many of us have been here 3-5+ years already. Plenty of patience has already been shown when things were supposed to happen.
