Where has all this talk of takeovers come from? IMO, there is close to zero chance of a takeover. It would only be PC or another Chinese oil company that would bother, and we know Mongolia are trying to move away from their reliance on them, never mind the Mongolian people not being fans of such companies.

SP irrelevant. It’s market cap that’s important and after the raise, we’re a bit away from the lows. Let’s see what today brings. To go below the placing price would not be good.

Yet another chastening day. Tomorrow will be key... do we stabilise around the placing price or fall through it? That would be quite something, so soon after the raise. The concern is that falling to even 1.99p might panic some investors into selling and we'll end up in a vicious downward cycle.

Oh, I bet they do. The Chinese certainly will. Insider dealing absolutely happens and why take a bribe in a jiffy bag when you could potentially go long or short on a stock knowing you have the decision making power to really move a SP to your benefit. Let's hope that they've gone long and want to see this at 50p!!!

I’m not saying we won’t have to raise money. But Gobi is costing £1.5m. Insignificant in the grand scheme of things and won’t be the reason if we do have to raise new monies.

It’s near field, potentially huge, and I’m personally happy for us to go for it.

That's just not how MMs play this game. They make plenty of money on the bid/offer spread. Why would they risk being up to their eyeballs in a dodgy Mongolian oil stock that could go to zero at any time?

There's been brutal selling for weeks. Is it just a seller from the placing looking to make a quick buck or Investor's theory? It actually doesn't matter because in both of those scenarios, there's no insider dealing. That should be the only concern... does someone know something we don't. If there isn't this going on, we should be OK.

But to what end? In that case, why not just trash the SP all the way down to sub 1p and accumulate at an even cheaper price?

Ups and downs, but more downs in recent weeks!

We’ve clearly still got a seller about selling in clumps. But I reckon we are well north of 100m shares now, far more than the reporting thresholds. So something odd going on or multiple large sellers from the placing working together. The problem is we don’t know who MB gave the shares to. But I’m convinced dodgy deals were done.
