JV is an interesting one. If PC said they’ll cover all costs and have 10-12 wells spewing oil next year but wanted a share of the profits … would we go for it? Would the MG be ok with it? More likely than a takeover IMO, although still an outside bet.

Fair's fair, a few chunky buys in quick succession. Need lots more. I honestly can't be the only person here very disappointed we're at 2.4p with all the seemingly positive news we've had.

I've bought a small amount back this afternoon. A fraction of what I sold weeks back, but I just find it inconceivable for them to have an AGM with no firm plan. And I don't mean a plan that is just words like last year. But then again, they treat shareholders with utter contempt so I wouldn't be too surprised.

Regardless of the outcome, I'm looking forward to meeting up with some familiar faces (Jint, Bob etc). I'm sure we'll be in the Raglan afterwards for the usual beer and debrief with everyone else. All welcome. Bob, try to behave yourself this year ;)

Jojoba - I have commented in this many times with more than simply a FFS or ludicrous.

Firstly, WOS has told us MB is not interested in selling out. Take that with a pinch of salt, but there is also the fact that we've stuck it out for this long, we're finally about to produce and it would make sense to develop Heron and be generating serious revenue, which would support a much higher valuation and takeover price than we'd achieve right now

Also, the MG have said they are trying to move away from being so reliant on China, so why would they change all the rules and be supporting MATD, for MATD to simply then sell out to a Chinese company?

Petrovis has been mentioned, but surely they'd have just bought us out in previous times when we had next to no cash and were reliant on them to support the multiple raises, they could have had us for a snip. Petrovis are also more a company that runs petrol stations... do they want to become an oil explorer/producer? Maybe, but I doubt it.

Gobi might not formally be a duster. But it wasn't a hit and we've got to park that to one side for the foreseeable future. Best now to get on with developing Heron as fast as possible, start generating serious revenue and maybe, just maybe, we might see the SP slowly start to appreciate.

Hamm, there is no takeover happening or going to happen FFS. And regardless of debating on buys vs sells, the SP ain’t going anywhere, for whatever reason.

Asher, LSE doesn’t know whether an order is a buy or a sell. It just assumes, for example, that if the executed price is closer to the bid price than the offer, that it must be a sell. You’ll notice sometimes if it’s plumb in the middle of the spread it will say unknown.

If MB is legit, then he must be wondering what more he can do. To be fair to him, he has got things sorted as per recent RNS and presentations, and on time!

I don't think they'll hang around and they (MATD and MG) will want said 10 wells up and running ASAP. I wouldn't rule out another raise but it might not necessarily be terrible news if the cash really is used to accelerate the development of the Heron site.

Ludicrous to suggest Petrovis will take over. And if they do, they've propped us up financially for years, so aren't going to pay a huge premium.
