I think because:

1. We have a large seller(s) that is consistently selling almost immediately into any strength.

2. LTHs are already up to their eyeballs in stock, so no more serious buying possible from them to push this on.

3. Once bitten, twice shy - investors have had a rough ride with MATD over the years so likely want to see actual $$$ hitting the bank account before they'll believe it.

4. Major catalysts (that we knew for sure were on the horizon, i.e. first production of Herron) have come and gone, so new investors possibly not overly excited and don't see 10x bagger returns and are shopping elsewhere.

5. Still waiting for every last signature and deal to be signed, i.e. PC admin deal.

Yes, when the SP was 2.4/2.45 and then 2.45-2.55p. And look how it shifted the price back down.

Not being negative, merely pointing out that there continues to be selling into anything remotely like decent buying.

Bigsid, I’d hope it’s not too punitive. I mean, it’s just an admin fee… how much admin can there possibly be?!

With any other company, the absence of a confirmed deal with PC and the admin fees would be fine. But we've had so many delays and false dawns that it's understandable some, including myself, are still cautious, albeit I'm cautiously optimistic.

There really isn't much left to say now but wait for this oft-talked about massive rerate. The SP is all that ultimately matters, it's what we're all here for, to make money. As it stands, 2.35p is not good enough and way down from where we have been, be it 1, 3 or 5yrs.

As it stands, no one knows exactly what we might be able to claw back and I'm talking a long term valuation based on 200bopd (which is ridiculous anyway from Gusto, as we know it'll be more than that). Or what admin fee PC wants. We have to calculate from what we do know. Anyway, the market is the ultimate arbiter of what MATD is worth. And they don't think we're worth more than £35m right now.

We've had WOS and Hamm (ps, can you give us your calculations???) spouting 10-15p "any day now" for two years, even 50p! Do you want to hold them to account for being so wrong? No, thought not.
