We all remember the posts about TW's new activities Tommy - so nobody really needs to ask. But I guess the inference is that he's looking for things to do as the SNG project will soon be at an end. Personally i find it rather ridiculous to suggest that a polymath taking on yet another big-brain challenge suggests anything significant about other long term projects.

Ghia popped up today didn't he ? And I've just re-read the post he made on Feb 8th that changed Gunto's thinking about trials starting in H1. Ghia said they wouldn't on Feb 8th - all that time ago. And then dropped his usual paper trail of clues that nobody really followed up.

If they don't RNS until Friday - it'll be bad news. 3 days and counting

TP even if they do have something positive to report, there will be no reason to apologise - and certainly not to the tambourine bashing cabal on here. It will be an absolute disaster if we don't hear that they are close to starting the P2s, or to agreeing a BP JV to move the project on. And another disaster if they've allowed finances to get into such a state that they're missing deadlines and the survival of the company is at risk. We already know that SNG works with a specific population and if they are still messing around with regulators or haven't managed to unpick UNIVERSAL or get an AAB test ready then it will confirm that the company and its leaders do not deserve to be the custodians of what still might be a very important drug. Whatever we hear - unless somehow it's a non-dilutory partnership ( which it can't be from here) it changes nothing about the company's rotten performance over the last 28 months. It's been a rolling, roiling shi.tshow.

Gonna be such an exciting week - what with the trials starting - and the full year results published - AND the AGM notice. I mean wow - talk about getting the job done !!!

I dunno Td. I keep seeing Michelle at the front desk. answering the phones, opening the mail from Mrc, and grinning a rictus grin, as the RNS drops and the bombproof doors at the back of HQ swing wide open, and a fleet of union jack liveried Mini Coopers, weighed down with bullion, dart forward and away into the busy streets of Southampton.

None of this matters now. We'll get something by the end of the month and unless they still aren't ready with an update ( which is absolutely possible), we'll know if our onward journey will be aboard the BP Express or on the milk train, chugging slowly through the night.

Also off to the footie. Even though a Liverpool fan I'm dismayed that Trent Alexander Arnold continues in midfield. Fear is that he has a great game and Southgate picks him in the really difficult games to come, when he will be found out by the likes of Germany and Spain. Also concerned that he won't play Foden in the position he played in for City when winning the Prem and Player of the Season. And will keep using Kane badly too. Other than that I'm confident - but the man's an absolute tool.

So Fruits - you can't stand up your very specific claim about TFG's average price . Any fool can say £60m is a drop in the ocean compared to the total fund. Maybe just retract it and apologise to the board for the misleading claim. Maybe even report yourself and get it taken down.

Fruits, the way it usually works - if you make a huge claim which nobody else agrees with, and which has never been posted before - is to provide the evidence.

If you can't back it up, and won't retract it, don't be surprised if people think you're deliberately attempting to mislead shareholders .

Doc83 doesn't need any help in seeing you off, but I know that he will be digging out the TR1s and I don't want him wasting this beautiful day on your account.

Doc83 please don't waste your time on this. The rest of us remember the detail in the TR1 discussions and if Fruits' memory is failing, you don't need to indulge him. As Size confirmed the 90-100 was the figure arrived at with one or two outliers suggesting 75-80p.

No the quote is exact - single figures to mid teens. Not high teens. And the £232m was a maximum they might spend in trialing and getting it to commercialisation - none of which would have come anywhere near Synairgen or its shareholders.

The point about the size of markets is fair enough but you offer Dupixent - which is close to gaining its authorisation for COPD, and you might also have mentioned Ensitrelvir which will have its NIH eua review in a week's time which it is expected to pass. Both drugs with efficacy in the 30%s and the latter administered by nebulizer. The potential COPD market will shrink and there are further drugs also showing very promising results.

At those old AZ percentages it needs to be a blockbuster - which of course - if you'd finished off the whole bottle - it still might be.

Maybe the terms will be better now and maybe those are standard figures for BP keeping their pipeline going with new licensed drugs. It's certainly comparable with some of the mabs deals we saw during the pandemic and subsequently - but if you only have one drug and little chance of anything to come, a deal such as this would inevitably spell the end of the Synairgen atory.

If there's a deal out there we'll all be relieved, but it won't be mutually beneficial - as it will be occasioned by the inability to get the P2s done alone. We needed to get past this point and go into partnership with someone from a position of strength once we had actually proven the efficacy and commercialisation case conclusively. But we'll take anything now as there's no alternative. They can't do it alone.
