don`t see how the conclusion of 30 a spin has breathed new life into investors for this rise doesnt make sense, there must be another reason for the rise
just could be the result of selling the Australian arm of the company.....
thats reassuring then I read it wrong as if she was leaving
William Hill PLC (LSE: WMH) confirms that Ruth Prior, CFO has accepted a position as Non-executive Director of Motability Operations Group plc
aye I tend to agree, as well as the constant cleaning down of spit off the machines and s**t in the toilet, I guess we get paid about right for the job we now do........ haha I like your style you sound like a rebel :) RNS today our CFO has jumped ship clearly tells you something else there too..
this often happens when certain staff members feel threatened to ask if theyre ok with problem gambling, usually on the back of this staff do know what they are doing and know who their regular punters are, all these questions have been asked before to said person as you quote playing two machines, theyre usually happy and comfortable playing two machines at a time, also its not right but some of these people are well known to communities shall we say and you also don`t want to upset or p**s them off or offend them either. our hands are tied in some situations, its not right or fair but we do the best we can in a difficult situation, we are underpaid and overworked for half the s**t we have to put up with on a daily basis while the rich keep taking from our profits for their own gains.
speaking as a current employee and no bias towards anything just expressing an opinion of my own - low morale from 99% of staff members, fobt review still not out, australia taking a hit and being offloaded, america pulling out of deals as wmh is suspect to criminal activities, 6.2m fine...., yet we are gettting a double bonus to try and lift spirits, and receiving updates to SIS for minutely bingo draws to try and recuperate the damage done, IMO theyre focusing on the wrong things, need to get their house in order and stop trying to capitalise the world, bring back old system of managers, look into closing and opening times of shops!! (don`t remain open for 4 hours at night just because someone may put a 5 note in a FOBT...putting a drain on cashflow) look after your staff lift morale and stop focusing on the big boys (shareholders) that way your share price might head north and people will re-invest in what was once a good company to work for. IMO its going south for a long time.....
Any news on thos going south!
In response to gideon, i might top these up myself. New rollout of fobts, upgraded platforms could be a big rise soon if people start believing in WMH again.
Looks like it might be time to pull out when have broke even again I think. What does everyone reckon on here hold or sell
Ive just left the company, and the future does look bright for online etc, but need to look after their staff in shops, hence why Im out. Thanks for clearing up its not WMH specific.
anyone have any idea why these have dropped yet again!?
