if you're a shareholder, the Tally forum has a good Railsbank thread from a couple of days ago discussing the Railsbank shareholding:

I think Cameron did mention it in a Q and A this year but can't remember the exact wording. But yeah basically 50+k shares left if taken from the original amount I believe. A suggestion that the RB current sp may be near our original delisting market cap. But it's hard to get a full picture because it's tricky to find info on Railsbank's structure and investors. Easily accessible info out there includes only the first half a dozen major shareholders but then you generally have to sign up for some ccount or other to see the rest.

"Tally Ltd currently has a significant investment in UK-based Banking-as-a-Service fintech Railsbank Technology Ltd, leading India gold exploration company Geomysore Services India Pvt Ltd and Finland gold exploration joint venture company Kalevala Gold Oy."

Apr 29, 2021:

"Tally sold 41,538 Railsbank shares (30 June 2020 holding: 98,782 shares) for a total gross cash consideration of $2.5 million (£1,923,927). The price per share achieved on the November 2020 disposal of $60.18 was 376% higher than the original cost ($12.63) in early 2018."

There's a new product called Mettle e-money account which is advertising on telly in the UK.

It's just a short charge of the business light brigade lol, but it's quite memorable. Tally should have literally advertised on TV, they'd have reached the national audience the way Mettle, Starling, Quick books, E-Toro, etc, have. All this farthing about on social media has moved the company mere stepping stones forward, yet they paid a great deal seemingly for a PR campaign that until now, never left Twitter. And that's been negligible. They really missed a huge opportunity a few years ago to get Tally out there via television.

Also, does anybody know if Tally has a Telegram group? I tried looking but can't find anything. Though given Tally's numerous incarnations and side gigs it could be under another name.

I'm already moderating one group so don't really want to set up another at this point in time, but if anyone fancies it... They're pretty easy to set up and run. Might be a good second hangout if this place goes kaput.

Let's be honest as well, 9 out of 10 or more, people here are going to jump out on the bell should this relist.

And that's an absolutely natural and proper reaction for long-suffering shareholders here, and if Mr Parry even glances at these sorts of forums, he'll know that.

What he needs to do is make Tally more attractive and worth keeping a few in, as well as driving in new blood which will buy up that which gets quickly dumped on minute one of a theoretical opening day. New people won't carry our troubles, they'll be totally green to all this, and it's those types he really needs to persuade. As we as those current shareholders who might think twice about selling up completely.

I know this post will elicit the usual snide 'dreamers' response but its a conversation I think people should be able to have.

It's just a wait and see, atm, isn't it? I'm certainly not going to complain about any smattering of publicity. As far as the DM goes it was a decent article. The responses seemed honest despite being largely skeptical. Having said that DM comments are noted for straight up pulling all things to pieces.

I do think there's a place for Tally out there, and it adds to the diversity of choice in the finance arena. It just really, really badly needs marketing beyond bloody Twitter and FB.

BA, I don't think people are taking anger out on you. It's a response to your anger, which manifests as constant negativity bordering on sneery at any hint of anything not doomy.

Honestly, you can't be like the Naga Muchetty of LSE and expect others to agree all the time. I think we're all jaded enough to take everything said from Tally and CP with a huge grain. Yes it will be frankly a miracle if we relist but honestly, stranger things have happened, companies have come back from the brink and made good.

Whilever there's that hope it's there. It might well be ludicrous, shift again or the whole thing could collapse tomorrow. We don't know what's real or not anymore, frankly my doctor, broker or local farmer could be lieing to me too. But if there's a sma chance of me, you, all of us, actually unlucking our money this year or early next, then surely that is worth keeping in mind. Its a lifeline, nothing more at this stage, but at least it's there. And there have been people who've got along with the Tally app and card very well. I still think it has a place in the arena of money choices. Nobody can guarantee its success or this company relishing. I'm skeptical too. But I have to keep my eyes on the prize, which is the possibility of this trading again.

I wouldn't worry about it tbh.

If you track back over ANA historical trades you'll see it's dipped this low before and worked it's way back to up to 1.8p. It seems to follow the same pattern in a cycle.

Agreed Cheemap, what's to lose, for now?

People should read the Q and A, CP did give out some decent info and filled in some gaps. I'm far from happy, like most here, but I feel that this RNS did contain something more solidity. The application (if it materialises) may slip, and I'm under no illusion about that. It might end up going in next year or at least being okayed/ticked off next year. A main market listing would put us into another ballpark, and hopeful a safer and less fraught one than AIM.

I'll take that if it means my money's freed up. And all our money. I might even keep a few in if CP and co can come up with something that makes it worth peoples while once (IF) listed.

I appreciate some here are 'you guys are losers, and pie in the sky, blah blah' and that's fine, you do you. If there's even a sliver of hope to see our money back I'll grab it with both hands. I haven't waited 3 years just to throw in the towel now.

Agreed. And I hold here.
But there's really nothing to hold this up atm unless they roll out something significant and unknown. All the building and growing is priced in.

The best you can say short term is use the opportunity (if serious about the sector) to take advantage of one of the best potential opps in a year+ time. This is a dirt cheap gold-plated opportunity for a potentially excellent result. If only we had a big insti on board to make a wave or two.

Slug, this was his answer to that:

"Certainly current shareholders will be welcome to participate in the IPO @Chipchop. You can’t offer anything extra on the public offering as raising will all be on the same terms. All shareholders will no doubt consider if they want to sell, hold or buy more, based on what they see and know at the time and the momentum they believe is behind the price. There are some that will no doubt just leave at the first chance they get no matter what and I hope they get a decent return when they do."

Also,

"we’re targeting higher than the 2.65p we came off the market at in May 2018. That way, although its been a massive frustration for everyone being unlisted, at least it ends up being a kind of forced saving we’ve all had to endure."

As I say, cautiously optimistic. But no more than that atm.

At least he's talking about it in more solid terms.
It was a better natured Q and A tonight I thought. He did alright imo. Whether the IPO will pan out for Dec I refer to Slug's comment, which is a fair assessment and expectation given our past.

But it's better than having no date, nothing to work towards. December it is, according to CP. There's a somewhat more solid road ahead taking shape imo, but we will see. Very cautiously optimistic.

He wants to list at above 2. 65p. The RNS will be sent out tomorrow.
