Just releasing the App in itself may not, however what should lie behind the app, should.
As I understand it, the App will bring the various parts of the business together for the customer to use, all in one place. And it's not just here in the UK, many other locations too. Bringing new users, adding to subscriptions etc is the future.
You lot just love to kick this when it's down. Do you all work together? Who for?

Well, that's what makes a market. I too have lost money so far, but I have not bought on speculation, but on a long term investment horizon.
The App is the second step we will see. The first is the preliminary behind the scenes work we don't see. The third is the relationships with telcos, other media, artists, that provides the product for customers. Once people start to see it all come together things will happen. I have seen businesses grow, develop, have hiccups, raise money, for over 45 years. What's happening here is not out of the normal. AM has a dream to build this company and make it work. Not everyone shares that dream, but that's life. Plenty seem to share the vision and have stumped up serious money so far. More will be needed I am sure. I have said on this forum many times, what's the problem with dilution if your eventual upside is 000's of %?

We know the foundations are in place, and there is some certainty about a new App, albeit the timing is 4Q.
There is 1.8p downside, but multiples that upside.

No one knows for sure when the App will be released, but it should be in the 4Q. From reading about the company and industry, there is a lot going on behind the scenes. There are, we understand lots of B2B deals being agreed. Company aims to bring multi offering to artists (VR/video, audio, documentaries, etc) to customers via Mobile (5G is a driver), Web, and TV. Company has distribution agreements with several large telcos around the world, and six more to be signed (from the annual report 28 June).
Therefore, many of the key foundations for NAPS to grow the business are in place or about to be announced. Company has enough funding to last until 1Q22 (from a/r)
Either a) Napster make a success in time, and its reflected by 000's% increase in share price. B) An industry competitor or partner likes what Napster is doing and buys it out, C) there are unforseen delays in App release an it takes longer, possibly more funding required, or D) it's a total flop, and it's destined for the history books. I believe in A or B.
I think people have a choice: own now and sit out the waiting game, or buy it 3 or 4 times higher when there is more certainty. Its your money at risk, so its your choice.

Italian, there was a 25m share trade reported several weeks ago at 1.80. It's anyone's guess but that was probably N&G.

KL, completely agree. They would not waste their time, effort , and take the risk for a 3 or 4 bagger. More like 30x or 40x.
They may of course take some profit as Napster goes through some price levels (say sell 20% at 5x, so the rest runs for zero cost), but these guys are in for the big game.
I also expect they speak direct to Matchett and other senior people, and maybe other key financial providers.
As I have said many times before, buy when N&G do.

Some rough numbers on CLNs, and repeating a previous post:
Since the CLN funding announcement 8 Feb the market Cap of Napster has fallen by ~36%. There has been ~203m new shares issued so far, an increase in share count by ~8%. So with the CLNs issued to date, there has been a 4 and a half times negative effect on the share price. Even allowing for the remaining CLNs to be converted, the number of shares will increase by ~12%. Still a 3x negative price reaction. Well overdone. Just playing with numbers, but clearly based on this math, NAPS is currently the WRONG PRICE.

Get over it and calm down. There is plenty of good news.
We can assume the last of the CLNs will be converted in the next 2 days. That takes pressure off the share price. We have a clear timeline on the App release. In my view it's later than I'd like, but it is what it is. We know there is funding out to 1Q22, and if things go well, revenues may increase and self fund the next stage, or at worst provide cheaper funding alternatives. The strategy of providing live access to sold out concerts, with a massive back Napster library, Melody back catalogue, interviews and documentaries across Mobile, Web, and TV is intact. We are all disappointed in how long its taking, but honestly who is surprised. This is new and innovative, its disruptive. Competitors may lose out and are probably stirring the half full glass. Some are disappointed they are not paper millionaires yet. Be patient, things will fall into place. Rome wasn't built in a day. We're used to the instant hit these days. Big wins don't work that way. Be patient. Chill. Be happy...

For me, this is OK, nothing more. I wasn't expecting and big positive surprise. Its still about the future. Time line for the App release has been provided, how much it will cost, and the funding in place. Will more be needed? Maybe - but what the f*** do you expect?

Thanks Albert, some good observations there. We should not forget, especially some of the people behind the aliases on this page, that this company is being run for the long term, to deliver an innovative, perhaps disruptive technology across the music business. It's not being run to satisfy some of the near term immature demands thrown about here. Patience will be rewarded I am sure. Enjoy the weekend, next week is bound to bring plenty to talk about. I hope, anyway.

Expect this: I hope there is a management/operational update, an update of some sort regarding guidance on App launch, NAPS sales targets, and general outlook.
