it'll be about 3k +Vat I reckon, a bit more complicated than a leasehold transaction but not by much.

I think the only take away from this is don't get DLA Piper to do your conveyancing ....not that conveyancing on a house and and M+A deal are the same thing! Someone suggested it will be a partner and a couple of photocopying specialists earlier, that made me laugh as well.
